Overnight stay, staff polite, hotel terrible. Macerator toilet, dirty throughout please do not stay no matter how convenient for the ferry terminal - the interior of the building is very tired and needs totally removating and poorly maintained

Calamity in Calais

Booked a twin got a double. Sorted but had to ask twice. Badly lit stairwell. Shower took 5 mins to warm up. Toilet unable to take tissue. Shabby all over (being kind now). Wouldn't send my mother in-law there.

Booked Hotel Pacific, arrived to be marched a street and half to Hotel Tudor, where there is a problem with the entrance lock (receptionist said you had to try code 3 plus times ....is an electrical fault (no way) )After going out for evening meal, returned unable to get back in Had to walk the street and half back to Hotel Pacific reception, who walked back to Hotel Tudor who then also could not get in, however other French resident managed to be able to operate the lock!! No one else could!! Room 2 (room we were allocated) laminate flooring parting all over! Curtains do not cover windows completely & external blind does not close properly! Shower cubicle totally disgusting grouting black!! Scared to venture in!! No headboard on bed, Duvet cover appears clean however dare not venture too much further!! No cups/ cutlery, fridge iced up, tv whilst all French still presents no picture just sound Total waste of any money. Accept whilst centrally located think twice!!! Rang Hotels.Com who rang the Hotel, they disputed facts and would not issue refund however Hotels.com issued refund voucher to my account!! Strange?? Hotels.com prepared to give a credit / similar to my issue with a Hoseasons lodge in Criccieth where again property was sub standard yet owner refused refund but Hoseasons gave one!! Think twice and check reviews!! I really do not go on holiday to be wasting my time like this!! But do Not believe it is fair on other people to be ripped off!!

Unbelievably Awful!!!

Booked this through Booking.com who charged us twice the hotel walk in price. Awful rooms. Curtains falling down, cramped room, broken flooring, stained bedding, bathroom door didn’t shut let alone lock, no blind in the bathroom so neighbours in flats could see straight in and the smell was nauseating. Our rugby playing, 6 foot tall teenage son burst into tears when we opened the door! Cost us over £100 to stay but as it was 10pm it was too late not to stay and we had been travelling for over 12 hours. Appalled by this being allowed to be on booking.com Avoid at all costs!!!

Vile, just vile. To be fair the bed was clean and with fresh bedding, However, everything was dirty, stained carpets. Shower tray that left you standing in 3 inches of water because it didn't drain, light hanging by a wire from the ceiling, disgusting window frame. I couldn't take any more pics as battery was flat. €8 for orange juice / coffee / croissant, but not until 10.00am, so no good if you have an early start. Don't be fooled by the website.
