Fantastic
We’ve now stayed at Hotel Port Bo twice and have loved it both times. The place is impeccable, and the staff are brilliant. The hotel and grounds are absolutely spotless and although some reviews mention the hotel decor being dated (we love it), it’s certainly not tired. Every corner of the place and item within it has been looked after perfectly. We’ve stayed in both an apartment and room here and both are very clean and spacious. Each room comes with a balcony (we’ve looked over the pool/sea views), a fridge (apartments have a kitchenette) and a spacious bathroom. It’s not often that you’ll rave about a hotel buffet, but the breakfast here is amazing. So many options each day. The hotel is really family friendly. We come to Calella De Palafrugell for a quiet, relaxing holiday and this hotel suits that perfectly. Hotel Port Bo is a 3-5 min walk to the town centre and beach, where you’ll find all the shops and restaurants. The hotel pool is also really nice as well (heated/family friendly). We love this place and will be back again.
Location is key and cleanliness was on spot!
The hotel is located right there in the middle of it all! The service is impecable and the rooms are clean and in great shape. It is a beach hotel very well run. You can expect families as well as there are some rooms with kitchenettes.
Amazing value
The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Everything was spotless clean, very quiet, large room, large bathroom, very useful fridge, safebox, good air conditioning, central position - we could reach any beach in a couple of minutes, by foot, amazing breakfast - huge variety of salted and sweets, perfect Coffee and each day they added somerhing new, but what made it so good were the people who work there. We will definetely come back, we had an amazing time. Thank you, guys!

As has been mentioned already, the hotel is a little dated but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. The hotel is spotless and room perfectly adequate. Ours was on the second floor overlooking a very quiet street and had a view to the sea from the balcony. There was a small fridge in the room which was very useful. The breakfast was unbelievable with everything you could wish for including Bucks Fizz! The pool area was lovely and towels were free. The hotel is literally 3 minutes walk to the centre of the village and beach. Hotel has parking for 8 euros per day but we got spaces easily when we were there but in high season I dare say you’d have to drive around a little to find a space. All of the staff were very friendly, especially in the breakfast room. All in all a great option in this beautiful village.
3 nights in may
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights B&B 13-16th may ‘19. On arrival staff were helpful and even though we were an hour early allowed us to check in. The hotel is immaculate - however the fittings and furnishing are a little dated - it’s like someone has just built a 1980’s hotel it’s so pristine inside. Great room with balcony and very clean. 200 yards from the little town and beach. Excellent breakfast - massive choice and great quality again with friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again - recommended
