Everything lived up to our expectations when we stayed in this wonderful country house in Licusati on the Cilento coast for four nights in September. Raffaelle and Nunzia, the owners, were so welcoming, helpful and friendly they really made our stay very enjoyable. The room we had was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and indeed the whole house. They really take pride in this family run business and it shows. Compliments to all the staff and especially to Fatima!. The food was so delicious and homemade that we ended up eating there 3 evenings in a row, and the breakfast buffet always had a different cake in the morning, home made jams, figs, fruit, cheese, salami, coffee. We were so spoilt!. Palinuro and Marina di Camerota are only 10kms away and every day, we would drive in to either town and relax on one of the beaches. I would recommend taking a boat trip one of the days, Raffaelle recommended us a great boat company and they took us to a tiny white beach with a great little restaurant, very untouristy and really good food. We were always happy to return to Dimora Del Sole after a long day. It is definitely one of the places we will be returning to in 2018. Thank you again!.

The rooms and large and clean. The owners are kind and helpful. You can have lunch and dinner if you want and the food is great. Strategically situated in the region. Few mins by car from Palinuro or Marina di Camerota.
Great place for a great vacation
I spent a long weekend in that beautiful part of Italy (Cilento), we decided to stay here with my wife and two kids (10 and 12). They qualify themselves as a bread & breakfast kind of place, but it's definitely more than that. They offer big rooms, almost like small apartments, very nice and comfortable. You can have lunch and dinner if you want besides breakfast and the food is really great. And last but not least the owners are extremely kinds and welcoming. Looking forward to go back there again!

Siamo arrivati all'ANTICA DIMORA DEL SOLE per caso ma ci torneremo di sicuro. Abbiamo trovato ospitalità, cortesia molto al di sopra della norma. Raffaele cui ha accolti e coccolati, ci ha fatto sentire di famiglia come fossimo amici di vecchia data. Ha preso il più piccolo dei miei figli sotto la sua alla protettrice comportandosi come se fosse il nonno. Nunzia ci ha viziati con la sua cucina, con i sapori di chi produce tutto in casa, dalla pasta ai condimenti. I figli non sono stati da meno, una gentilezza ed una cortesia che ci hanno lasciato stupiti. La pulizia degli ambienti è davvero ottima, il luogo silenzioso. Tutto fantastico. Se c'è una cosa su cui recriminare è che il soggiorno è durato solo 2 giorni, ma non sì può darne la colpa au gestori 😁 Ci torneremo, sicuramente, anche perché voglio scoprire altre specialità della cucina di Nunzia e riassaggiare sia i cavatelli col sugo fatto da loro che la pasta con il pesto e sugo (marò... solo a scriverne ho l'acquolina). Non possiamo davvero non consigliarlo. Anzi no, noi non lo consigliamo (così almeno siamo sicuri di trovare posto la prossima volta 😀).

Pulizia e attenzione verso gli ospiti, cordialità e cortesia sopra la norma. Sentirsi a casa e coccolati non è retorica ma un dato di fatto! Tante piccole accortezze che fanno del soggiorno un momento di vero relax! Cenare in struttura non è solo consigliatissimo ma è d'obbligo per il palato!
