Carballo Hotel & Spa

Carballo Hotel & Spa is a boutique-type property in the city of Campos do Jordao. It is located 5 miles from downtown, but access is easy and fast. The property itself is located in a nice piece of land, very quiet and where you can hear the birds singing close to your room. The building is very stylish inspired in the Bavarian castles. Staff is very helpful starting from the front desk, the valet parking personnel, and the waiters. Upon our check-in we ordered the wine menu in the room service and the housekeeping to clean the bathtub, that had some tree leaves, since we left the windows open for a while. Both ladies arrived in less than 5 minutes! In addition to the breakfast the hotel offers a free afternoon tea in the restaurant with a nice assortment of treaties. We stayed in the 3rd floor (Lirios suite) and our room looked almost like a doll house in a positive way. The ceiling was low, there was a flower wallpaper next to the bed, and the bathtub was on a nice deck with a panoramic view of the native forest.

Lovely hotel and good service, it’s located about 10 minutes driving to city center. The room had a bathtub with a view to mountains. We booked for marriage anniversary and we had a special attention.

Beatiful castle like new construction two miles from dowtown (Capivari) hotel Carballo offers the utmost in comfort and cozyness. We stayed in a room withg a Jacuzzi, bed is beautiful and very comfortable, bathroom great and shower makes you want to spend an hour in it...Jacuzzi in the room is beatiful with full view over the araucarias and the mountains.Unmatched gardens, manicured bearing all kind of beautiful flowers, outside warm water pool in a gorgeous setting. Covered garage, good restaurant. What else can you expect??

spent three nights at the hotel. the facility is quite new and very well furnished. the decoration is beautiful, the beds are great (i changed room to a bigger one), shower is wonderful as well as the towels. the staff is incredibly. always in good mood and ready to help. breakfast is excellent and there is a "chá da tarde" (5'o clock tea) which is really great. the location is also very good. definitely would come back.

We spent a night in room 308, a suite with bathtub. The room could be bigger, but the bathtub with it's view make everything perfect. Bed linen was very good and soft, robe and towels really soft. Bathroom has a good size and is very simply and finely decorated. The minibar is free (if you don't ask for replacement in the same day). We ordered room service and it was fast and tasty. Breakfast and afternoon snack are served in the restaurant and everything was fresh and tasty. There is a beautiful swimming pool, a lake and the garden is nicely designed. The location of the hotel, not in downtown near all the restaurants, makes the place a hideaway. If you want a place to rest, this hotel's location is perfect. All the employees were very polite and nice to talk to.
