Friendly Staff - Great Location

The room had a BEAUTIFUL view. It was clean and minimalist (in a really nice way). The location is excellent - close to many amenities downtown including a large mall. I speak almost no Spanish - but the staff always helped me bumble through and figure things out and were very friendly and accommodating and it was much appreciated. Also the staff works VERY hard to make sure you enjoy your stay (you almost feel like you are royalty). There is a free shuttle to the beach resort where you can enjoy the pools and ocean and amenities (ping pong!). You get 15% off drinks and food at the beach resort and it was all very reasonably priced (the biggest margarita I have ever seen for something like $5 Canadian). It felt like a great value added item to have access to the beach resort property. I really enjoyed having the beach resort access and the shuttle system was on time, organized, and efficient. You get the best of both worlds - you are away from the hotel zone - but can still go there for free and you are also in the heart of the city close to other non-hotel zone restaurants, shopping and amenities (and all at non-hotel zone prices!) The check in process is a bit different for us Canadians but from what I understand this is completely normal in many countries including Mexico, and we thought of it as a cultural experience - after all I came to Mexico to experience cultural differences! You wait in the lobby (with AC and drinks if you want in comfortable chairs) until check in time (3pm) then wait in a line-up with the other guests and check in. It really wasn't a problem, and once we got to the counter the check in staff were really great and took GREAT care of us. I kind of enjoyed seeing how all of the local people weren't worried and weren't in a rush or bothered at all. It reminded me to relax and enjoy the flow in Mexico! Everyone waited patiently. Again the staff worked VERY hard to check us all in and gave each and every guest AMAZING care and attention during the check in process. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous and the staff worked very hard at the breakfast restaurant too. There was a great selection of Mexican and international foods including fresh fruit and home-made hot chocolate! The main food offerings even changed each day. It was a great value to have breakfast included in my room price. After breakfast the restaurant will ask you to sign a bill that has an money amount on it but don't be confused like I was - if you paid for breakfast in your booking - the bill you sign at the restaurant after eating is for "contabilidad"(accounting) purposes for the hotel. The hotel pool area is beautiful and even has Bali bed loungers with no additional charge! (The Bali beds at the hotel zone beach property have an additional charge). The elevator is key activated and it all felt very safe and secure in the building. I had no worries. There is also a nice big safe in the room that you make the code for. Overall it was a WONDERFUL stay at this hotel. Great value for money. Thank you to all of the staff for treating us like royalty. :)

Martha was amazing! She and her crew were very attentive and super nice. Whenever we had a challenge, she was on the spot to help. Next time I come to Cancun, I will definitely stay here because of her.

Try the garlic fried fish I really loved it. Yaritza served me and she was very kind to help me understand the menu. I stayed alone for nearly an hour and took my cream brûlée to go. Pool is right outside the door so nice scene. Everyone was kind and attentive. Thanks!

Being in Cancun multiple times either on vacation or business I find Krystal urban near Cancun Centro is one of the best locations that I use when I’m on a business trip great customer service all the staff are friendly and great location. Big thank you to the management for their great service, a big thank you for Carlos the Bell boy who takes the extra mile to help the clients and make sure all their needs are satisfied, a big thank you to Jorge the supervisor great customer service outstanding. Overall it’s a good package deal.
