Relax and come on in
We were concerned about taking a vacation during these crazy times...but the was awesome! When we arrived it smelled clean and fresh. It was decorated very modern. The front desk staff Mike and Kris were great! I spoke to Mike before I arrived and asked for some ideas of where to eat. When we arrived he was very friendly and had good restaurant choices for us to try.Kris gave the idea to see the launch from the casino cruise. Which was amazing! She was very friendly and kind to us during our stay. At breakfast we met Bob and Tara both were friendly and nice. Bob even got me my favorite yogurt the next day after I mentioned it! I never had a staff go above and beyond like that!! The room was very comfortable and we stayed here for 8 days! We love to cruise and this will be a cruise to stay in whenever they start back up! Great stay!!!
Excellent Stay in Cape Canaveral
Was very impressed with both the hotel and the welcoming staff during our stay. Our King Suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were very satisfied with the extensive measures they were taking to combat Covid. While there was no longer an extensive breakfast buffet, they still provided a hot meal individually served in styrofoam containers consisting of eggs, bacon and potatoes. Boiled eggs, dry cereal, individually wrapped muffins and breakfast drinks were also available. If you are cruising, this is the closest hotel to the port. This is now our go-to place when visiting Cape Canaveral.
Excellence During COVID-19 Silliness
Homewood Suites Cape Canaveral is quiet, clean and comfortable. I just completed a 12-night stay under COVID Phase 1 Recovery restraints, but the staff of this hotel are working very hard to make the guests comfortable and welcome despite the changes to services. Here were the changes I noticed: Breakfasts were individually boxed, coffee poured by staff individually for guests. In-room housekeeping curtailed to allow staff to focus on the overall sanitation of the hotel. Fitness center (well equipped for this level hotel) was open, but limited to 10 people. That's a lot actually for a 12' x 30' room. Pool, grill area, laundry and store were all fully available. Outdoor seating was 100% as well. Great Room was also available, meeting rooms too. Almost normal, and very clean.
Excellent stay
Have stayed here before when cruising. Obviously this year was a little different as cruise was canceled. Staff went way above and beyond to make out additional unexpected days pleasant. Very friendly and understanding in a trying time.
Pre-cruise stay
The hotel is nice and clean, for the most part. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Nice place to see a launch, especially a night one. The biggest problem with this hotel is the staff. Chris is one of the rudest people we have dealt with in the service industry. We paid $420 to stay one night and to leave our car in their lot. I think that's a pretty steep rate, but it was to come with a voucher for transfer to and from the ship. They did not give us a voucher for return trip, but wanted to argue that we did get it. The morning we were leaving I asked if they had an ATM, and she said nope, and walked off. She treats you like you're an imbecile that you're beneath her. The hotel is nice and in a good location, though the rate we were charged was exorbitant. We will not stay here again, as long as Chris is employed there. Chris, if you happen to read this, you need to come off your hateful high horse, I imagine you put your pants on the same way as the rest of us.
