A misleadingly named dump
I had to quarantine here for 14 days, so I wouldn’t have been HAPPY anywhere, probably. But this place is around $69 a night for a reason. The furniture is all extremely old and mismatched. Very stark
"Not So Elite-Seef"
On initial viewing, the hotel staff were welcoming and the hotel looked nice and was in a good location. The room was nice and very clean, although plugs, Wi-Fi, washer, kettle did not work, this was mostly rectified quickly by the staff. My initial thoughts were shattered by the amount of noise in the hotel. The hotel obviously has been made cheaply as there is not soundproofing whatsoever. Whether it's the hotels 'Entertainment' making the walls vibrate or the drag racers outside at 3am, you are in for a terrible sleep. Every weekend there is music played loudly until 1am with only a few people actually watching the acts. We had to change room after the first few nights as it was unbearable. This was resolved in the new room to a certain extent until a few days later when the new "restaurant" was opened underneath our room. By restaurant, i mean nightclub! After even more noise complaints to the useless managers we were still no further along. The Valentines Day party in the hotel summed all this up. Loud music from everywhere stopped anybody sleeping. Drunken people (that weren't even staying at the hotel) being carried through it. People smoking within the building that was then carried through the air con into peoples rooms. Prostitutes roaming the halls! Apparently this is a family friendly hotel. These are only a few of the downfalls of this hotel. I’m sure they will send a reply of "we need feedback so that we can get better" but we have been giving them feedback everyday and nothing is happening. They just offer to move your room the next day! Not sure who gave this hotel good reviews...probably friends of the staff. Do not stay here!
THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED.
0/10 customer service 1/10 standard of food (when it comes correct) 1/10 comfort (the beds are ok) 1/10 cleanliness around the pool (food plates left out for days, beds not cleaned covered in bird poo) Washers don’t work in many rooms Very dated Awful loud music on all weekend! Terrible live music/singer! Club/lounge situated in the hotel with no soundproofing what so ever, might as-well have dragged my bed into the club lounge & tried to sleep there, hotels solution move rooms the next night? One of the worst things about this hotel are the managers & their total incompetence. Avoid this hotel unless you have zero standards and have no interest in sleep. 0/10 would NOT recommend.
DONT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT SOME SLEEP
I stayed here for 4 weeks and on 1st appearance it looked very nice however, they have 'entertainment' on for 3-4 nights per week and the noise is ridiculous. I started with a 5th floor suite overlooking the pool which looked good but after the first week I asked to move to the back of the hotel overlooking a car park because of the noise. They have the worst music/singer I have ever heard playing until 3am, blasting music even though they have only about 5-10 people sitting outside. The windows are only single glazed and the furniture in the room vibrates its so loud. Management said they can do nothing each time we asked. So my new 4th floor room at the back was better as I couldnt hear the poolside music anymore however, there happens to be a nightclub on this side on the 1st floor which plays until 6am and has people shouting in the streets under your window. Again my room is vibrating with the worst music. Its unbearable and impossible to sleep. There are 6 people in my group and we are all having the same problem. Its a shame this whole review focuses on one issue but its a huge problem that has ruined all 4 weeks.
Worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed in
The hotel can only cater for a single group of guests at a time. All other guests are left to a very poor quality of service, food always comes out completely different even if you order the same thing. Music at the hotel is outrageously loud with no sound proofing for the rooms. Managerial staff are rude to customers faces and floor staff are completely clueless. The hotel seems as if it’s a construction site all the time if there is not banging or drilling going on there is other work going at the hotel distracting from your stay. I would never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend to anyone.
