Fantastic weekend and unbeatable hospitality. Will return for sure and will recommend to family and friends. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable and fancy decorated. The bathtub was a plus and the water pressure and temperature outstanding
Lovely B&B with wonderful hosts

Spent four nights here at the beginning of September and absolutely loved it. Carcassonne itself is a wonderful place for a short visit and Serge and Muryel added to the experience. They were so kind and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed the chat at breakfast with them and the other guests. Breakfast itself was lovely too with plenty of local produce and it's the first time I've drunk coffee from a bowl! The property is about 2.8 kms outside Carcassonne so a car would be helpful but it is quite easy to walk or use taxis. The bus service wasn't brilliant.
Charming B&B, Charming Owners

Serge and Muryel make you feel very welcome at their rustic and charming Bed and Breakfast. It is about 5 mins by car from the stunning Carcassonne Cite, where there is plenty of parking and a lot of choice of restaurants for lunch or evening meals. The breakfast at the Domaine was the best of our two week stay in Languedoc and Provence, with croissants, hams, cheese and even gateaux. It is a communal table but that all adds to the lovely atmosphere of the place. Would definitely stay again when visiting this wonderful area.
So French, we loved it.

Stayed for 3 nights as a base to explore Carcassonne and the surrounding area. The place was full of character, quirky and we love it. Muryiel and Serge were fantastic hosts and a font of local knowledge. From telling us about places to visit and when (fab market in Mirepoix), to taking us through the local cheeses, meats and breads that they served us everyday. Its a winding 3km walk from here to the old city, but its not a bad walk and the taxi back wasn't too much. Would recommend hiring a car from the airport but book in advance as we were lucky to get the last one there on the day. Driving south through the vineyards to Chateau Queribus was divine and well worth the trek up, the views were amazing. Lasgrasse was great for a stop off stroll and lunch. When we stayed we really felt like their guests and they did everything they could to make it wonderful. Thank you Muryiel and Serge :)

This was my second visit to Carcassonne and second stay here. My partner has visited many times before on his own and always stays with Serge and Muryel. We wouldn't stay any where else when visiting Carcassonne. They are so friendly and welcoming and speak good English. The building is a converted winery and is just beautiful and full of character. Each room is decorated with a slightly different theme. The rooms and rest of the converted winery feature a fantastic and eclectic collection of art, sculptures and ornaments that have been collected over many years. Everywhere is exceptionally clean. Muryel serves a friendly and tasty breakfast in the dining room, serving a selection of locally made bread, cured meats and cheeses with croissants, fresh fruit smoothies and fresh tea and coffee. They give good recommendations for places to visit and to eat. The medieval city is just a 5min drive away and Carcassonne airport is just a 15min drive. The lake is just a several min drive away and is a lovely day out. You can also get a train from the new town (next to the medieval city) We visited Narbonne for the day and it was lovely. You can also go from Narbonne to Gruissan by bus/taxi to see the beautiful beaches there. We hope to return next year with some of my family who I know will also love it here. Would certainly recommend Domaine de Marseillens to anyone.
