Great choice for families
Stayed there while visiting Carlsbad Caverns. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Nice, new-ish property (built in 2016). Free laundry. Nice rooms. Comfortable mattresses. Not on a main drag, so a bit quieter than some of the other properties. Very clean. Will stay there again if/when in the area.
Great hotel
New hotel, nice and clean in the area with a great crew taking care of all your needs. We will stay next time again at Candelewood when in the area. Looks out of the main route but still close to every attraction in Carlsbad
Clean comfortable and cool
Good location in Carlsbad for the caverns and Guadalupe NP. Positives: Very helpful staff (Michael 👍👍) Clean lobby and room Great AC (it was 101) The have a lending lobby for items to borrow Negatives: No breakfast (they are all suites) A bit expensive (the whole area has very high prices due to demand from the parks and well workers) We could have booked something cheaper, but we planned to do a lot of hiking so wanted a place we could relax and get great sleep (which we did).
Nice clean suite
We stayed here for one night while traveling. Our accommodations were spacious updated and clean. Nice to see the J R Watkins bath products! Bed linens and bath towels were nice. This set up would be great for an extended stay. As always the staff was friendly!
Good location for National Parks visit
We stayed at this hotel when we visited Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Mileage wise it seems far, however, the road to the parks is straight and flat and easy driving. It is on the south side of Carlsbad so you miss the heavy traffic in town.This hotel is excellent. It is very clean, quiet, and has a super friendly and helpful staff. It is on the pricier side but the kitchen in the room allows you to make your meals there and avoid the cost of restaurants.
