Motel 6

This was the best place with the best employee's. Housekeepers where very helpful they are super good at there job and fast, best staff. I will definitely come back to this place when we come to reno.

Truly harrowing. The men roving the parking lot literally all night are unreal levels of creepy. Be prepared to be watched and followed when you arrive and anytime you exit the room. Also wow! This place is absurdly expensive. Didn’t know a motel 6 could be $149. Nothing else was available last minute. No discounts for fleeing wild fires. Ok next we gotta talk about odor. If you were to to empty air freshener can after can into the air while smoking 10-12 packs of cigarettes, you might be able to recreate the smell of the room. The staff is kind.

the room didn't have much space, there was a broken spot in the toilet, also a broken spot in the wall, but it looks clean, and the price was inexpensive, so generally ok and we just stayed there for one night.

Checked in for a couple of weeks while I had a job in town. The gal at the counter sent me to a room in the back. Strong odor of urine like a care facility but the overpowering smell of green-bud from the last tenant was the deal breaker. The smashed fiberglass shower floor was also a deal breaker. Back to the front counter. Office staff was helpful and let me look at another room before I committed. Asked for a room next to the office (I figured drug dealers would not want to stay there). That room was clean and tidy. spotless bathroom. Nice little fridge too. The only real detractor was I could hear everything going on in the room next to me through the locked interior door which would attach 2 rooms into one. If I had neighbors who stayed up late I needed to leave my TV on for gray-noise so I could sleep. Other than that, it was a convenient and clean place to crash while working in town.

Spent two nites here while traveling the Lake Tahoe area. This is your typical older Motel 6. Room was on the smaller side, some typical deferred maintenance. The laminate floor in our room looked well worn in places. Felt like they could use a better cleaning. If not for the floor I’d have gone 4 stars. Plenty of hot water, beds were firm as we like them, pretty quiet, lots of parking lot lighting. Check-in pretty quick. Good a/c. Didn’t use the TV, WiFi on the slower side. Door seemed a little abused but functional. Would I stay here again? Sure, no problem.
