Clean, good location

I stayed here mid-February. The hotel is across the street from the beach, less than a minute walk. The room was small but I don't spend a lot of time in the room. If you are out all day, and just looking for a place to sleep, it's perfect. The wifi was ok. Standard buffet breakfast was included. I liked it. Helpful, friendly front desk staff, who spoke decent enough english. Short walk to Bocagrande beach. Overall decent location.

Felt like a home away from home!

Great hotel to base yourself out of when visiting Cartagena. I really appreciated the staff's attentiveness. Whenever I needed something, they were ready to assist. Excellent location close to bars, restaurants, amenities and only 20 minute walk to old town. Highly recommend if you're looking to stay at an unassuming yet clean and quiet place. Note no gym or pool at the hotel but the beach is across the street and there's a beauty promenade behind the hotel about 4 minute walk. Definitely will stay here again!

Stayed at this hotel for a week Sept 20-27. Great small hotel, perfect location, extremely helpful and friendly staff, super clean, and has a great breakfast! Will definately stay here again on my next visit!

Welcoming hotel

From our late arrival to getting washing done the staff were great, even with very little english. It's perfectly situated in the middle of town, close to everything. Room was good, although not large, it was just big enough and serviced very day. A great place to stay.

Absolutely overrated. Overpriced. Staff with issue.

Facilities are clean and well maintained. House keeping staff good. Apart from that it is ordinary. Internet network is poor. Nowhere you can boil water yourself (i like my own coffee), need to ask a staff, takes forever, very inefficient system. PLS READ Front desk staff thinks they are in a position of authority and put shame to common sense: i booked for 2 people knowing i would meet the sister of my best friend in my stay and i gave (as asked) the full name at check-in. One evening my friend came in her naval hospital uniform straight from work for a dinner, just as the prior evening. But on that day the short one at the front desk (the same staff the registered the name at check-in) decided to assert her zealousness (to be quickly joined by the tall one) by refusing my friend access because she did not have her national ID initially but just her government hospital staff ID; took a picture on “a” smartphone!?, hellooo is this North Korea?; etc... They have no clue that the reason they have to register visitors is a contingency for the hotel guest (if something goes wrong) and not to routinely report to any authority as it was argued. The point here is that there was zero use of brain power, knowing full well that this person was not a common prostitute, as an example, but nevertheless treated my friend sister as such.
