Fantastic Club Village for all ages
We have just spent a magnificent week at I Turchesi village. From the moment we arrived we were checked in Efficiently and quickly by Marianna we had 3 apartments and Marianna was very patient with us. We then was introduced to Simona who was very friendly and welcomed us to the village. Our Apartments were clean and very spacious and all the kitchen utensils plates, glasses etc were immaculate. The village itself was huge with all the facilities for your enjoyment tennis courts, beach volley and of course a fabulous swimming pool.If you want to go to the beach the Village organise a free shuttle which works efficiently in the mornings and afternoons. The entertainment team was managed by Francesco who was absolutely brilliant along with his colleagues Umberto, Antonio, Pier Luigi and the girls Florinda and Fortuna who were brilliant with the children. They work so hard to keep everyone happy and try to get you to participate in the games. Antony was the main dancer who would start the day with aqua aerobics for all ages followed by dancing at the poolside then later in the evening dancing with the rest of the team for the cabaret. Thankyou to you all for a fantastic week thoroughly recommend the village and will definitely go back my rating for the village is 5 star. Thankyou. From the D'Ambrosio Family
Family of 5 lovely relaxing break
We arrived on 21/9 and we were very late due to a flight delay from uk. On first arrival the village looked beautiful and come the morning we were not disappointed. As it was late we were advised where our rooms were and left to our own devises to find it. Our group included my inlaws who have severe mobility issues and the hotel were very kind to borrow us a wheelchair for my father in law. Apartments were lovely very spacious and clean with lovely fresh linen and towels. Only thing I would suggest is that as this is a self catering appartment a welcome pack with basics eg tea/coffer/sugar/milk/bread/butter would be great and if you choose to purchase them you pay if not take back to reception, we were in garden view rooms which were great but I would of preferred a pool view which we asked about and the staff again were great to accomadate and we were moved 2 days later as soon as they became available. The daytime reception staff were most helpful and even arranged a private car to take my father in law to the beach as he was unable to get on the shuttle bus and they sent it back again when we were ready to return. We booked this holiday as a last minute break and didn’t realise that it was the end of the season so we’re surprised no entertainment and that the onsite shop had very little produce to offer The pool area was amazing and lots of gradual steps to get on the water a lovely way to cool off with the glorious sunshine. We went to the beach which the hotel has a private section and a fabulous bar and restaurant again the staff could not do enough for us with free sun beds etc and the food was gorgeous. We were very sad to leave and have had a great relaxing week and will be returning next year but will make sure it’s a little bit more in the busy season
Wonderful stay at great place
a really great location for a holiday with a family. we were here two weeks with our 4 kids and enjoyed every minute of it. well kept apartments, great pool and an excellent staff organizing all kind of events to keep everyone entertained. nice that they also have a private shuttle to the beach, which is a couple of minutes away.
Great holiday
Really nice resort. Pool is amazing. There is a little supermarket which stocks nearly everything you need. Restaurant only opens at half seven which is late with young kids. Can do takeaway though. Most things close over lunch and early afternoon apart from the bar. Apartments are nice with everything you need. Self contained with lovely big terrace. Nothing like dish washer tablets cloths or sugar/oil (basics) are supplied which is a shame as there is a restaurant and this would be easy to stock. We really enjoyed our stay. Good base to visit some sites too with alberebollo, Castellaneta, various beaches ....
lovely
This is a really lovely Italian club village, with a mega swimming pool. It has beach volleyball, five a side football court, tennis etc. We had a really relaxing time here, the food was of good quality and reasonable priced also. It is meticulously clean, the apartments are spacious and the price we paid was also very competitive. The only thing i can think of which would improve it is some water slides ! For such a large pool this is a strange omission, The shop and pool bar closing between 1.30 - 5 is a bit odd also. Stay open, make more money ?! The beach is ok, but there are some incredible ones south of Taranto, within an hours drive. Lido Gandoli was our favourite. we would definitely come back again, our sons 5 and 8 made lots of friends here. Reception staff are very helpful, thank you :)
