Basic but great breakfast
Simple Rooms, could do with a shower curtain and a kettle but for the price okay. Very warm and comfortable beds. Staff are very nice. Diana is the best and most helpful. Breakfast is really Amazing value. There is a lot of Choice. So many different options and as much as you want. This makes it totally worth staying here. Also great location very central to everything.
Overrated...
We visited Castellon in April and stayed in Dona Lola which looked ok on Booking.com but in fact the hotel is definitely overrated - old and damaged Interiors, loose tiles on floors, not very clean, cleaners travelling by lift up and down, very poor breakfast...
Clean, comfortable, welcoming...a super place to stay in Castellon de la Plana
In Castellon for business for one week, this hotel was ideally placed - a short walk from the railway station in one direction and the old town centre in the other with a large park alongside ensuring tranquility. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful, the room - and the hotel in general - was ultra clean and the bed ensured a good night's sleep. Air conditioning was very welcome in view of the temperatures prevailing during my stay. A buffet breakfast was included in the price and was perfectly adequate, while the next door cafeteria served simple lunches and dinners at a reasonable price...once again with friendly and helpful staff. I was able to use the computer in the reception area for some of my work, which made life much easier. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel which offers excellent value for money combined with a happy, friendly atmosphere.
Good location, uncomfortable beds, poor breakfast.
This hotel is located near the city centre, next to a park and very near "El Corte Ingles" department store. The room looks okay but the beds are not comfortable at all, the matrasses are much too soft. I found it very difficult to get some sleep. There was a problem in the bathroom because it smelled very bad. On top of that the breakfast is not fantastic.
Good location, clean and comfortable, good value.
Our satnav had problems with the one way streets, however the hotel was easy to find! Street parking is hard to find in season, I suggest paying the €15 for underground parking is the best idea. Combined with the very good value rooms and with breakfast included, makes this a good low price hotel. Location is good for restaurants as well. Room was spacious with good beds and en-suite bathroom was also gleaming! Basic buffet breakfast is included in the price. Worth a look.
