Sitges revisited!
After many years (1969) I returned to Sitges to look up old friends. Platjador is a perfectly situated hotel on the sea front. The attention from reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. Any problems or issues were efficiently and helpfully dealt with by Eva, Flora (?) and Toni at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wide variety of choice that had something for everyone, with an offer of eggs, whether it be omelette, poached, boiled, being provided on order every morning. My room was neat, tidy and perfectly attended to, in fact I would have given my review a “five star” rating, except that my room was to the rear of the hotel with a less than attractive view. The bar on level 5, tended to by a cheerful bartender, is in a ideal location to enjoy a “nightcap”. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I will return to the Platjador on my next visit to Sitges with hopefully a better situated room.
Always a pleasure to stay here
Not the most luxurious hotel, not the best facilities but it’s location, and more intimate setting make this hotel my favourite in Sitges. It’s not pretentious, it’s more like a family run atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is unbeatable.
Unbeatable location and extremly nice staff
Our second stay at Hotel Platjador but cerainly not the last. Location is excellent, make sure to reserve at seafrontroom. For being a three star hotel they certainly exceeds excpectations. The only thing we found to be a problem was the extremly cold air condition.
Superb !
Great views (we had room 410), great rooftop bar, nice pool, great breakfast. VERY comfortable beds. Perfect location. We spent almost the entire month of July here. (Wish we could stay all of August, too). HIGHLY recommended. If you can, rent a room with a balcony and seaview.
Luxury post-lockdown
Another wonderful stay in Sitges’ best hotel. Thanks for your honest, homely hospitality in a chaotic world. All staff were exceptional. The facilities and service were impeccable. Hope to be back soon.
