Hotel Marambaia

Well located, super clean, the breakfast is delicious, complete and with a nice atmosphere. The swimming pool is small. Is not allowed to enter water with you at the hotel. What I didn't like is that the walls are very small or theventilation system connected from one room to another so you can hear literally everything what the ppl from the rooms around talk.... Specially what they do in the toilet :( Noise can start at 5 am since Latin ppl wake up early. Despite that....in general a nice place. Recommend for a family or a business trip.

I was recommended this place. Good place to stay at in Ciudad del Este. Nice breakfast and high standard on the rooms at an affordable price. The reception staff does not all speak english however - could be expected. would stay again though.

A Large modern, well equipped and very comfortable top end hotel. Arrived unannounced at 10PM; nonetheless was well received and given an excellent room. The complimentary breakfast was unbelievably complete with a wide variety of offerings. The four people on the wait staff kept everything refilled and do an excellent job. Congratulations to the Management and Staff!

We arrived to the area around 1am and front desk staff was waiting. Check in was quick and polite. The room was excellent. Big, clean, comy bed, quality sheets, a clean bsthroom with plenty of hot water for the shower. Breakfast was very nice...mostly breads (common in paraguay). Eggs were very runny but a nice selection. Check out was quick and friendly as well. Other than eggs, no complaint...great value for $70 usd per night. Directions from ascuncion are off right when you get to the hotel. There is no left turn to get to the hotel when traveling east. I reccomend turning early or driving another km to the roundabout...not hotel fault.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights from 8/19 to 8/24 of 2016. I was a little skeptical at first because it is a newer place but my father had stayed a couple of years ago and he raved about it. So we were going to take advantage of the promo of 2 nights for 400,000 guaranies (about $80) and then search for cheaper places but honestly, wherever we went were about the same price (if not higher) and did not offer all the amenities they did! These are the pluses I found hard to beat: *Newer building, hence, newer furniture, newer beds. *Modern, updated decor *Heated pool *Sauna *Gym *Covered 4th floor deck with bar/grill (not sure if they opened every day though) *Transport service that charges same as regular cab service. *Hair salon. And if they were ever busy, they offer transfer to another location at zero cost. *SEPARATE BUILDING playground (super bonus for who have small children!!) *Fresh and delicious breakfast!! so so SO GOOD! *Fast Wifi. *Awesome staff. Not sure if everyone spoke fluent english though. *Close to the "microcentro" and all points. Basically in the middle of everything. We were able to visit the "Cataratas del Iguasu" and make it in under one hour each way (fascinating trip. You must visit btw). Highlight of the stay: Every morning we were up late and we almost missed breakfast. My children were very picky eaters so it was very hard to feed them. Finally, my daughter found bread that she liked and she only wanted that. One of those days, the bread was gone. So of course my daughter was very upset.. By next morning, one of the waitress actually went the extra mile to put aside a couple of slices for my daughter. As soon as we walked in, the girl came to my table and brought out a plate with her favorite bread. Needless to say I was pleased with the amazing touch. Very attentive! Any time we had any questions, the front desk was super friendly and nice. I highly recommend the place. We are sure to return!
