Great for stopover

Reviewed 29 august, 2019

Like most of Premiere Classe hotels this Hotel was great for a stopover on our way to Spain. Breakfast was good but the price is always the winner. Clean and spacious rooms and no problem with access to rooms when arrived at 4am

Poor communication

Reviewed 21 august, 2019

Arrived at 2pm, reception closed, rooms were not ready, returned then at 3pm,not ready and so on. Tried the check in gadget which said I was not able to use it, tried the phone number but got a french message. I dont speak French. Good budget room, clean room, dirty microwave in breakfast area which let it down. Think they bought it from Chernobyl, it was contaminated. Bad car parking area, very bumpy and uneven under the trees area, dangerous at night. If your on a budget you do get a comfy clean bed, bread available with butter and jam in the morning, but no toaster to toast it. Good coffee and juice.

Very good cheap at a great location

Reviewed 15 august, 2019

Just very simple cheap hotel. We originally booked one night but ended up staying for 3. Perfect starting location for the big Châteaus (Villandry, Usse, Chanonceux, Azay-le-Rideau, and few little ones). Make sure to use the offer for a half board - 2 persons room incl. breakfast and dinner at the neighbouring Camplenille costs 66 Euro’s! Also every room has a aircon and not being on a major road, it was nice and quiet. If you have children that like a bit of adventure, just about 5 minutes walk is the most fantastic tree top parkour. Ours loved it so much that they did 2 days on it. Also very near a big supermarket, great if you want to buy a fresh supplies for the picnic. My only complaint would be a hard mattress and very flat pillows

A standard Premiere Classe – clean comfortable and good value for an overnight stop

Reviewed 4 june, 2019

A standard Premiere Classe – clean comfortable and good value for an overnight stop Staff friendly and helpful – dog made most welcome Will recommend the Breakfast as it is excellent value and fill that need We ate dinner at the Campanile next door – a good meal as always expected in a Campanile – delivered with house wine at a fair price particularly when the discount is applied--- ask when checking in for the reception to book a table Plus they will let you have the discount voucher Good car park Hotel just off ring road Ten minutes drive to city via ring road (west) leave ring road just prior to river and follow river bank into town ) – we really enjoyed our two hours in the city Wifi - good

You get what you pay for

Reviewed 22 september, 2017

We had difficulty finding this hotel, which we had booked as an overnight stay en route from Calais to the Dordogne, and after a longish drive we were quite fraught when we finally arrived there. The place looked extremely shabby from the outside, but we had a welcoming check in from the receptionist, who also gave us a discount voucher if we chose to eat at the adjoining Campanile Hotel - she even booked a table for us, which was much appreciated. The room was small but clean, although it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and could have done with a makeover. The toilet/shower cubicle was also very small, but the bed was comfortable and we got a decent nights sleep. The self service continental breakfast was excellent and great value for money. We nicknamed this place "The Ritz" and we were dubious about another Premiere Classe Hotel booking we had made for a stop over on our return journey to Calais, but this latter hotel (Barjouville, Chatres) turned out to be excellent - see separate review. As I said in the heading of this review, you get what you pay for
