Having stayed here due to it’s proximity to the Prague airport, we were greeted by Ludo the owner who is quite the guy!! He treated us like family, we couldn’t have been happier!! We also had dinner that night In the restaurant and we were blown away!! The beef bourguignon was absolutely incredible and the service was impeccable. So happy to have stayed there and will always stay there when in transit from Prague!!
Fantastic place to stay and eat , the food is better than you can get it down to Prague and the owner Mr. Ludo is the real gentleman , highly recommend this place . Only 10 minuets from the airport and Ludo will arrange the taxi for you .
No Better Place To Stay Before an Early Flight
Usually the last evening of a vacation with an early flight the next day is sort of depressing. However, thanks to this place, we had a very enjoyable final experience in the Czech Republic. It is surrounded by peaceful countryside (yet really close to the airport) the rooms are interestingly eclectic and provide all necessities, the food is absolutely wonderful, and host, Ludo, is friendly and has lots of interesting things to talk about. We only wish we could have stayed a bit longer!
Wish we could stay longer
We stayed with our two kids for one night. We selected his hotel because of its proximity to the airport but I would not hesitate to consider it even for visit of Prague and surrounding castles of Central Bohemia. This is really a charming place. The owner, Ludo, is very kind and friendly person. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite on the ground floor, which was very beautiful. We also ate dinner in the restaurant- again, excellent service, very good dishes and wine. Ludo also arranged for us an early taxi to the airport and was very kind to prepare for us take away sandwiches. Hope we will be back soon.
Charming with deficits
This hotel is perfectly located for a stop over at Prague airport (in fact the airport is visible from the hotel). The building is charming in its old style and there are some real nice rooms, at least we could see them on the home page... Our room however was utterly plain, with beds comfortable enough but not much more. The bathroom was equipped with a soft wall-to-wall carpet, which felt a little bit old-fashioned (and not quite fresh). With the modest price level Auberge de Provence is OK for one nights stay, but not for a longer period.
