Rude Staff, Dirty
Staff doesn't adhere to Covid mask procedures, talks and complains about guests behind their backs and under their breath. Stained carpets, rusted shower hardware, hard beds, and visibly unclean bathrooms. Room service only comes twice a week, and only if asked for. Would've slept in my car if we didn't need a handicap accessibile shower. Stay somewhere else.
COVID has changed everything!
While this was an ok hotel, the restrictions made it very uncomfortable. Desk clerk could not be understood because of a mask, no breakfast (a box to go), no pool, no fitness room, no business center and only housekeeping 2 days a week. Perhaps all the rooms on one end were the only ones rented because it seems the noise and traffic in that area went on all night. Very clean room. Bring your own pillows because theirs are only lumps of fluff. Also very expensive for a Super 8 - over $100.00 with all the taxes.
Never Again...
I must say this. I have stayed in this Hotel for many years. This time the Hotel has a new owner. They removed the wonderful country decor in the Lobby. Picture below. Replaced with furniture out of an old Doctor’s office. Painted. Everything Bright Yellow!!! Front desk person was rude. Left a $5 tip every day with a thank you note. Not once was the $5 picked up, or got new towels, never made the bed. The Mattress was old and lumpy. Sheets where old and discolored. A/C didn’t work half the time. Never again!!! I will stay in Madisonville next time around.
GREAT!!!!!
Quick check-in by Jeremy, he’s was very profession and polite and even gave me some suggestions on good places to eat. Very satisfied with breakfast, hotel was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
