When you walk in, you will be impressed by the lobby. That's about it! For $500 a night the rooms are just like a Motel 8. Most of the staff won't even look at you or say hello. It is obvious that the staff hates being here. The water park is in serious need of a facelift. Rust and damage is showing everywhere. The pools are dirty. The food is gas station quality. This place will make your kids hate you for not always saying yes.
Great place to visit, especially around the holidays.

Out family has been to this location multiple times and we especially like the Christmas time. The falling snow indoors around the clock tower make it that much more magical for the kids. I also looked being able to use the conference rooms as a dinning hall, it allows for ample room to enjoy your meal with family and friends/
dirty, dirty, dirty

when we arrived at the lodge and entered our room we were greeted by the most foul of odors. I called the desk and they said that they did not have any comparable rooms and would send someone up to take a look, the employee couldn't identify where the smell was coming from and agreed that it smelled awful and that we should demand a full refund. I called back to the desk and they asked if the employee had sprayed. I told them he did not and the person from the desk said that they would send someone else up to spray. I told her that I didn't think spraying would work and that there needs to be another solution. she said they could do some process where we would need to leave the room for two hours! this idea wasn't going to work because we had a newborn baby and it was already late in the evening. I then said that we could do it the following day when we were at the waterpark and I asked her how could we make sure that this would happen the next day. She told me that she would make sure that a manager would reach out to me at around 10am the following morning. The manager never called!!!! when the second employee arrived to spray the room with deodorizer, she asked me where the smell was coming from and I told her I didn't know and that it seemed like it was all over. I asked her don't you smell that and she said oh yeah it's bad. she sprayed all over and the deodorizer was so strong that it masked the other smell quite well for the night but we had to open the windows. Before the employee left I asked her if smell problems and issues were common here. She had a very long pause and said not usually, but that to me was a clear indicator that this is a common problem and if she wasn't an employee or working there she would have given another response. The following morning I went out to get coffee and noticed many of the cleaning staff were in the halls preparing to turn over rooms and the interesting thing was the supervisor was giving them a long speech about how they needed to a do a good job cleaning the rooms or there would be some type of consequences. This was another indicator to me that cleaning at the GW is a regular issue. From this point on I began taking account of other cleanliness at the lodge. I must say that I don't think you could have a worse plan or approach to keeping a building clean and safe. The carpet in the rooms and all over the facility are do for replacement, they are worn, stained, ripped and stink. In the water park the main areas that guests walk are slimy and need to be cleaned and the level of dirt and dust on the top of everything not touched by water is disgusting. the great wolf lodges approach to cleaning and customer service is appalling and quite sad. The smell in the room never went away, if you left the room and returned it would hit you like a ton of bricks. We also found a toy in our room that was left by previous guests. I took numerous pictures of the things I describe. Most businesses have stepped up during the pandemic...I guess GW has other priorities!!! just make money
Good place for family fun.

My family and I had a good time. The water park was the highlight of the trip. We didn’t participate in much of the other activities but we did get to explore around the local area. I would recommend only a 3 night stay in order to enjoy all activities.
Used to be a good place to stay

I been here once before and i t was ok. Not so much anymore. Could hear kids running around screaming from inside my room. Walking the halls they felt dingy.went and got ribs and macaroni and cheese at one if the restraints . Waitress came to me and actually said you don't mind the wait do you after 30 minutes. I said im just to get up and leave can I see a manager he was like oh well and blew me off .my friend with me slept on the sofa because he could not on the bed. The breakfast buffet was not that good either.really just want my money back.
