Beautiful chateau but is let down by the chef

We stayed in this hotel on two nights, three days apart. The chateau and the setting are beautiful. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant at all times. However, the first evening we ate there, the dinner was served incredibly slowly. We sat down at 7.30pm and didn’t leave until after 11.00pm. We had to wait 40 minutes just to see the menu, We did advise them about them taking so long to serve us as we knew we were going back. The second evening I ate there I got food poisoning from the dinner (I had the salmon and lentils). So for me the chef is seriously incompetent, and you should think carefully if you want to take the risk and eat there.

This place was amazing, the golf course was a 10… the hotel was fantastic the staff was amazing friendly. The food and location was super love it I highly recommend this place .💯 I definitely will go back soon miss it already

A great golf course with a castle as clubhouse and hospitality. Kindness of staff, food gourmet and delicious wines.Rooms are really cleaned and charming Everything is perfect for couple or family trip.

AMAZING place, nice golf course, super beautiful castle with all the bells and whistles. Super friendly staff always helpful. I had a great time over there and will certainly come back. I recommend to come either in a golf combo trip even if you just want to see the neighbourhood.
