Stayed here for 6 days. It's clean, the staff is helpful and professional, and it has nice facilities all for a good price. There is a nice pool and gym, but best of all Chang beer is only 50BHT in the lobby! I highly recommend it.

Great value close to Chalong Pier

I recently stayed at The Elysium Residence in Chalong for 8 nights. Very modern and immaculately clean with a fantastic swimming pool on the second floor. There is also a small but very useable gym. My double room with balcony on the 4th floor faced the rising sun each morning. The room itself was like new and again clean and functional. The staff here are superb. Friendly and approachable. This hotel itself is a 5-minute walk to Chalong circle and a 12 minute walk to Chalong pier ( gateway to Phi Phi island ) Chalong hospital and Chalong police are across the road. Close by a 24hr 7/11, a Supercheap and a Big C ( mini.) 100 metres to the right is the HomePro Mall which has everything you need for a comfy stay. Villa Market, KFC, Lucky13, Starbucks, MK Restaurant (recommend) Dunkin Donuts, a Pharmacy plus many more smaller stores selling clothing, cellphones, nick naks etc. If you wander around the nearby streets you find many local Thai restaurants, markets, massage, bars and the like. If you are confident riding a scooter I would suggest renting one @ around 200 baht a day. Big Budda is a 10 minute ride away from the hotel and Phuket town a further 10 minutes from there. Be sure to stop in at Chalong temple. The closest swimming beach and one I recommend is Kata (12 minute ride) The beaches closer to the hotel, although swimmable are not comparable with the ones on the west coast which are far superior. Tip..if hiring scooter wear a helmet at all times and make sure you have at least a bike licence on you and a photocopy of your passport (you don't need original). The Police go fishing daily for 'farang' on scooters..500 baht fine for no helmet, 1000 baht no licence and they usually always frisk you for..stuff. Enjoy your time here, it's an awesome place.

Great Hotel - the staff are amazing

The hotel itself is very basic, but it’s very clean , very comfy and also benefits from an amazing location. We stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks and commuted to fitness street (about 7 mins on scooter) and had no problems at all. It’s also very close to Chalong pier which is handy if you are going on day trips. Market village is a stone throw which is very handy for getting your day to day bits. Be sure to hire a scooter and make your way to gorgeous beaches which are in close proximity. Do pack a pair of earplugs though as the walls are a bit thin and I am a light sleeper :) As mentioned, the staff make this hotel. So friendly and kind. The security guard and his dog will melt your heart. There is also a laundry service across the road, run by the kindest woman I have ever met and she really does an amazing job, up until the early hours ironing all your clothes. Be sure to leave a tip.

This was our second time for staying here. Some facilities plus more such as outdoor swimming pool and mini Fitness. The receptions always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping are kind and always keep our room clean everyday. Hotel is in area that you can access many places Shopping Mall, Starbuck, pier or the famous attraction like Big Buddha. All trip or any activities can be request at lobby, they can recommend for you. My friend and I highlight this hotel is worth price!!

This hotel is fine, it is clean and basic. Right now Nov 2018 the location sucks. Although the walk to the bar area is short it cannot be done in heels and is dangerous due to traffic and the construction work on the main road. Not the hotels fault but a convenience none the less. Taxi hard to get but possible with 10 min wait and 200 thai bahts mostly. Motor cycle rentals are same price per day as one taxi trip.
