Charming and Comfortable Hotel in Argentiere.

Great little place for short stay
Stayed here 4 nights with my son for 3 days skiing Chamonix, Argentiere, and Balme area. Perfect for a build-it-yourself last minute ski break. Small room, minuscule en-suite shower room & loo. But you get what you pay for, and this was perfect for our needs. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was a generous all you can eat buffet. Bus stop 2 mins walk from the door. Surrounded by wide selection of bars and restaurants - we ate in 4 different places all within 5 minutes walk. Quiet top end of Argentiere. Door to door bus from Geneva with AlpyBus. Photo is the evening view from dining room. Nice touch = free cakes for afternoon tea. Would stay again.

Excellent TMB choice
We stayed here two nights and it became my wife's favorite stop along the TMB. We had a very long day coming from Champex via Alp Bovine and the Les Grands shortcut. It rained the last several hours and we were quite cold. As it was getting late we took the variant toward Le Tour and Montroc. We were thrilled to come across the cable car still running down to Le Tour and caught the bus at the base to Argentiere, which was just a 100 yards or so from Le Dahu. The room layout was a bit odd, with a toilet room just after entering the room and a sink/shower on the other side. The room itself was fine; not spacious but not tight either. In the afternoons they convert the breakfast space to a sort of guest lounge. If there are some baked good left over from breakfast those are put out and you can self-serve coffee, hot chocolate, etc (you fill out a card to be billed on checkout). Breakfast isn't included but at 10 euro per person was a decent value. It actually turned out to be our favorite breakfast along the tour, mainly because we like muesli and yogurt. Not only was theirs good, but both mornings they had an awesome bowl of cut fruit that was unlike anything else on the tour. The initial plan was to take a rest day, but based on the weather forecast we opted to hike the last leg without a day off. The great thing about this was that we only needed to carry a day pack with water and a layer (we finished at Plan Praz/Brevent). After getting to Chamonix we just hopped on the bus back to Argentiere. To get back on the TMB we back-tracked to Tre-Le-Champ but we probably just should have taken the Chemin des Grand Bois trailhead straight from town.
Good option for a hiker
The hotel is located right in the centre of Argentiere, close to the bus stop, railway station, the supermarket and the tourist office. The breakfast, for 10 euros was worth the price. My room was rather small, with a comfortable double bed and a tiny balcony overlooking the parking lot. The bathroom looked brand new. Not impressed by the selection of TV channels, but I was not interested, anyway. More importantly, wi-fi never failed. During my stay (5 nights) there were a couple of noisy neighbours.
