Manager refused access to room.
My sister was staying at this hotel when she came for a visit. I picked her up and went out for lunch. When we came back she said some of her clothing was missing. We reported it to the manager on duty and he said there wasn't anything he could do. We asked if he could check with his housekeeping to see if they found anything. We also told him we would have to file a police report for insurance purposes and then we left. While I was out with my sister sight seeing we got a call from the manager. He was extremely rude and said he wanted us to come to the hotel. I told him we were out sightseeing and would be back later. He insisted and again was very rude. I was getting rather angry at this time and told him we would be back when we are done. I was taking my sister sightseeing and didn't want to interrupt her vacation time. When we arrived back at the hotel he had locked out my sister. When we went to the office and spoke to him he refused us access to the room. He also told my sister she could not stay at the hotel. We asked again for him to open the door so we could get my sister's things. He again refused. At this point the police had to be called. When the police arrived they told the manager he could not confiscate my sister's belongings and if the manager would not allow my sister to stay at the hotel then the manager had to refund her money she had already paid. Will never stay there again and won't ever recommend. If I could give them a negative number I would.

This hotel was very clean and a good value. The room was adequate, but certainly not plush. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing with no hot items (except oatmeal and coffee). The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Clean and Comfortable
We've stayed a couple of times and have been very pleased. Room is Clean and Comfortable. Convenient to Restaurants, shopping and local attractions
OK stay
Room was average as far as cleanliness, staff was hospitable. Breakfast food was below average. Good vicinity for going to Chapel Hill basketball game.
