Great clean friendly headquarters for a visit to Chattanooga
This is a clean and family friendly place. The staff is awesome and it is a place we stay whenever we are in Chattanooga which is often. It is close to excellent dining and close to good shopping and close enough to downtown Chattanooga to be convenient.
Dirty room, property not well maintained
I was very disappointed as we have stayed at Hilton properties in the past and have been very pleased. Our room was filthy, fresh makeup stains on the pillow cases and sheets, fresh stains on the comforter, table and sink in kitchenette were dirty, floors had not been swept. The furniture was pretty banged up and looked old. Kim at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating for what she could help with. I changed all sheets and blankets the first night at arrival because they were noticeably dirty. We ended up leaving early and not staying a second night. The lobby area was nice and appeared clean, but the hallways and rooms need major cleaning and updating. I will not be back.
My stay
My overall stay: 5/10. Room 303 has a roach problem. I’m sure the whole hall/building does. German roaches too. I have environmental allergies to those pest. Dirty sink/ kitchenware. Price isn’t what it’s worth.
Convenient location, property moderate
I’ve stayed at this location several times over the past four years. The rooms are spacious, appears to have been renovated within the last four to five years and it looks nice and clean. This area has always seemed safe with good residents. In no fault of the hotel owners but Chattanooga officials need to control the drifter influx.
Rooms are Spacious but Front Desk Staff Needs Training in Guest Relations
When I first arrived no one was there - I looked around - called out Hello? several times and even poked my head into the office area behind the front desk - no one was there. After several minutes, a man walked into the lobby - I said: Hello. He said nothing. Wow. So much for the Hilton Welcome. I liked the room - it was spacious. There is a small, fenced basketball court in the rear - there was a group of 8 or 10 high-school aged boys playing - lying on the ground - all during my stay. I am sure they were not guests of the hotel - they were neighborhood boys who found a good place to hang-out. I wonder why the hotel allows this - the court cannot be used by guests.
