Wish I had more time
As a fairly new hotel the inside is very posh and well appointed lobby. Each room has a very arts oriented design and fair unique. While not the most well appointed rooms, for this price point and class they are fair. I did not get to experience the full hotel rooftop bar, but it seems like it would have been a great benefit to this hotel.
Weekend getaway!!
Everything was so pretty and quaint! Nice quiet one night getaway with my husband (without kids!). Excellent service at brunch from Ray Batista. Would definitely visit again in the future. And love Chattanooga!
Very nice boutique hotel
We stayed at The Edwin for one night. This is a really beautiful Autograph Collection Hotel! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are lovely and very clean. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel. We had a drink at the rooftop bar, which overlooks the river...great view and lots of bourbon and specialty cocktails to choose from. We had dinner in the dining room and it was both unique and delicious with great wine choices too. We did not use the pool because it’s January and too cold, but it looked nice. We also did not use the gym this time, but it looked nice too. We stopped at the coffee bar in the morning and had espresso’s while we sat by the fireplace in the lobby area before departing. Again, all of the staff here was wonderful. You will not be disappointed in your stay at The Edwin!
Can't wait to come back!
Can't say enough great things about The Edwin and their generous, kind, wonderful staff! Camden, Javier, Drew and Megan from guest services, Matt from the bar and our servers upstairs (whose names I'm embarrassed to be blanking on), the valet crew, and every single Edwin team member we had the chance to meet were so warm, gracious and excited to help in any way possible. We booked a Sunday Funday package so we were treated to brunch at Whitebird (get the biscuit platter - like the southern answer to a charcuterie board with housemade jams and sorghum butter - SO good) and drinks at Whiskey Thief after a day of exploring, plus coffees in the morning from Provisions. We were also upgraded to a balcony suite room with unreal views of the Walnut Street bridge and Arts District from every single window and even in the 30-degree weather, we couldn't bring ourselves to leave our patio (except to refill our drinks from the bar upstairs and down). One of our favorite details was the in-room Crosley record player and albums to set a soundtrack for your stay. I'm writing a novel here so I'll shut up, but we had an absolutely PERFECT stay at The Edwin - we were even able to bring our dog who also loved the hotel and its unlimited dog treats and staff who complimented and petted him everywhere he went - and we were already planning our next trip back by the time we checked out. You should plan yours too! You won't find a better location or a better experience.
THE Edwin Hotel - Roy
Roy made our family feel at home, from the dinner experience in the library he went above and beyond to accommodate our family. The next morning we went to eat breakfast and again his unmatched professionalism shined! Roy, we thank you for a great experience and good luck in your new role my friend.
