Days Hotel Buffalo Airport

The bathroom had not been cleaned before we arrived. Used soap and hair on the toilet bowl top. People were fighting in the room next to us and there were people outside our room in the middle of the night in the parking lot who were very loud.

I am in my room right now and I imagine this is what it feels like to stay in a Trap House. Doors are slamming, the floor wreak of marijuana and cigarette smoke. This is my second night and final night. The first night a young heroin addict roamed the hallway looking for ice. That was sad because she was young. Looked like a former athlete who suffered an injury and was prescribed pain pills and then- the rest is history. Arguments and conflicts intermittently blared through rooms as I passed. One argument ended with the girl saying let me get out of here before they call the cops. Earlier a guy yelled from a window at a large party of folks whose hotel party was smartly denied by the clerk. Later that night, I hear a guy walking by room menacingly urging another person "man keep your eyes on that car. Don't let it get out of your sight." They did clean the room after the first night. Finally, this is an understatement of my experience. I too tired to provide further details. Stay at your risk!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Days Hotel Buffalo Airport in late July 2020, and while the location is great, there were definitely some issues with our stay. For starters, our room keys almost never worked to open our room door the first time (and this wan't exclusive to our keys/room, as someone down the hall from us had the same exact issue). We tried swiping the card faster, slower, at different angles, and nothing seemed to help. Not a good way to start our stay. In addition, the keys didn't work well to get in the outside doors either, so that was definitely a huge frustration. Then we (finally) get into our room, and the WiFi only works when we're sitting right by the door to the room, doesn't work anywhere near the bed or the table in the room. Wherever the router was, it apparently was in a bad place. Lastly, the key card holder indicated that breakfast would be served from 4am to 9am, but when we went down about 8am to get breakfast, there was absolutely nothing there. Probably because of Covid, but did we just miss it? Or was it somewhere else? Why did the holder say there would be breakfast when there wasn't any?

We're over an hour from the airport and had a 5:45am flight out. I did the Park, Sleep, Fly at Days Inn and we got up, showered, and got shuttled to the airport just fine. Cost was really just a tiny bit more than what it would have cost for long term parking for a week. And no long drive to the airport which would have meant getting up even earlier! When we arrived after our trip and got our luggage, I called and said we're ready for pickup, and in 5 minutes, we were on our way back to the hotel, taken directly to our car, and were on our way home. I'd definitely do this again.

We parked our car at the hotel in their fenced parking lot. The cost was reasonable and everything was fine when we returned from our trip. The shuttle service to the airport was very good. We stayed one night in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a small bar with food service. We were impressed with the included breakfast which had a good variety and was presented well.
