You never know what you’re going to get with a holiday inn - sometimes a large motel, sometimes a proper 5* hotel. We got the latter! We had huge hassle at airports on our journey, pregnant wife + toddler, over zealous security guards, lots of QR codes that don’t work for 老外，unhelpful pissy attitudes, delays. We arrived at the holiday inn around midnight and they couldn’t have been more helpful - smooth easy checkin, great room, baby bed waiting with bathtub & toys. Note to management - the night team on reception for night of June 15th all deserve double 红包 this year! Also really cool location by local food streets, river path, taikuli, subway station etc.
Great hospitality and location
Very happy with my stay in this hotel. It’s in a great location beside the subway and the service is excellent. Check in was very professional and fast. Room was clean and comfortable. Many thanks to Stephanie and Shelley for their great hospitality in the club lounge. Looking forward to my next stay.
Great location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast spread
With the subway walking distance from the entrance and street food round the corner this HI is conveniently located. Fast check-in/check-out and ever helpful staff with a smile. Room size was good and had the full amenities of a good hotel. Rooms even have a choice of pillow and a full work table. Problem with all hotels in China is with thw WiFi signal...very weak and we had to rely mostly on our own mobile data. TV channel has a wide coverage but English language ones are mainly news network. The plus point will be the great breakfast spread and the freshness of the dishes. As it was an overnight stay we did not make use of the other facilities.
Excellent hotel but for one thing
With my wife we stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is very central and the facilities are good. The room is comfortable, as is the bed. Internet is a bit flaky but this seems to bre the case throughout China. The breakfast is good with an excellent choice of either asian or western food. The one problem we had there was that on the night we arrived the air conditioning had apparently been turned off (we were told this was to save money) The room was hot and uncomfortable and we were initially told that nothing could be done. On complaining again the aircon started to work though could not be adjusted in room. Hopefully this was out of the ordinary. Apart from this the rating would have been excellent.
good location, very helpful staff
The hotel is right next to the subway entrance,in the city center, almost closed to everything you might want to visit. The staff is very helpful, should thank Jessica and Una, they are the reason why I extended my stay. The breakfast is a little bit simple though.
