Very friendly and active landlord. Lovely setting. Nicely busy. Dog friendly. Only spoiled by the portion of chips which was somewhat mean. £1.50 for 11 chips! We'd be happy to come again and try more items on the menu. Sadly no vegan options.

Weekend Getaway

The Butler House was the perfect escape for a weekend getaway from the city. Ourselves and another couple stayed for two nights. MK was an excellent host - he stayed up late to show us around after arriving late from out of town. The house itself was exactly as advertised and very well kept. The outdoor area was our favorite space - including the bench swings, fire pit, and amazing hot tub. He also provided excellent local recommendations for places to eat. Other activities were within a 30 minute drive. Would definitely recommend!

My Snowmobiling getaway

I have been advised by my friend to check this place for my snowmobiling trip for me and my friends from PA to Cherry Creek New York, I have to say This place surprised me as we was just looking for a space for the night on the snowmobiling trails, but this place can absolutely offer much more, Amazing Old House with rooms named after characters from my all time favorite show Downton Abbey, I was staying in Lady Mary Room LOVE IT They also have amazing hot tub that we was offered to use, very nice backyard views and a fire pit that I'm sure will be back to check this summer. complimentary Tea Coffee and snacks with lots of fruits available 24h Overall amazing old house to stay, that takes you back with time with a lovely fireplace room for good time with friends after long cold day, The host MK is a great guy so welcoming and kind. We will be back for sure, well recommended Butler House at Cherry Creek inn

Cross country ski vacation at the Butler House

A beautiful old 1860 Victorian bed and breakfast hosted by wonderful hosts MK and his wife Renee. Wonderfully clean and gorgeous old home, surrounded by 50 acres and more of farmland and rolling hills to ski on, complete with lots of deer, a full moon, and great sunrise right out our bedroom window! Close to East Side Overland hiking and ski trails, Amish countryside, Chautauqua Institute, and more; we will be back! A great find!

Historian's dream!

My family and I stayed here in the fall of 2018 for a leaf-peeping adventure. The leaves didn't cooperate, but Sharon and her lovely BnB more than made up for that! She is a font of local history and lore, in addition to stories from her fascinating life. The house is a gem, with a rich history and wonderful curiosities similar to what one might find in a Victorian-era sea captain's house, and a working fireplace in the parlor where guests can make themselves at home. The tower room is the perfect place to get away from the world for a little while, while drinking tea and watching the rain. The rebuilt carriage house offers a stocked kitchen/dining area, and large library upstairs with cozy nooks for reading and games for enjoying chilly October evenings. I very much enjoyed becoming acquainted with Sharon and the Cherry Creek Inn, her generosity in sharing about the house and history make this a perfect place for people who are interested in learning more about the area.
