Another lovely welcome
A lovely welcome again from Ingrid and Christina, my friend and I enjoyed a lovely coffee morning there at the pool. Christina served us one of the best cappuccinos in Malia, this place just gets better every time I visit
Really lovely holiday
Spent 9 nights at Melissa Apartments at the beginning of September. Had a great time Ingrid the owner could not be more helpful in giving tips on the sights to see in the surrounding area. George her husband sorted out car hire for us. The apartment we had was lovely and clean and we throughly enjoyed ourselves, great location in Malia old town but close enough to the nightlife if we wanted a night out. We will be back. Thank you.
owner belongs on a lead.
extremely angry owners, shouting and slamming doors at all hours of the day. felt uncomfortable in own room, the owner would walk in her nighty without knocking. bins werent changed at all, no cleaning at all same bed sheet all week. maid was as useful as a person with no limbs. hairdryer didnt work, toilet roll never replaced, had to pay for aircon WHICH IT DOESNT STATE ON WEBSITE. wifi a pile of balls. do not come here, especially if you're on a girls holiday. owners children are is nice.
Haven Heaven
Our second visit to this special little hideaway, located in the Old Town, Malia which has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Melissa has everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable holiday, apartments are spacious and clean with air con (payable direct to Melissa Apartments) hair dryers foc. Food is available, a menu with something for everyone and perfectly cooked every time. The pool area is beautiful with views of the mountains and catches the sun all day, loungers and parasols are provided foc. When the sun goes down its a lovely relaxed place to sit with a cold drink, chat with the lovely owners and pick their knowledgeable brains for the hidden Crete. Melissa Apartments is a home from home but with sunshine ☀ Thankyou for another wonderful stay making memories and friends.
Wonderful apartments
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Melissa apartments, near old town Malia, a lovely family run place, the owners George & Ingrid could not have been any more welcoming, the pool, bar & outside lounge area are kept very clean & tidy, the food is good & the rooms are very nice, there is a sign on the wall by the pool saying slippery surface, I would just say be very careful around the pool when it’s wet, it can be very slippery ! Other than that a perfect place to stay, ideally located in a quiet part of Malia, large supermarket just steps away, old town malia within a five mins walking distance with lovely restaurants in a pretty square
