Almost perfect!

Upon arrival the first thing when you walk in through reception is the views through the next doors to the pool overlooking the sea! The hotel is simply STUNNING! everything there is high quality, the sunbeds are comfy, solid wood with lovely cushions, there is beautifully thought out chairs and tables, the interior designer really did an amazing job, it honestly will take your breath away. The bed was soooooooo comfy too, rooms are spotless, showers lovely and has high pressure. The room A/C is great and works very well! Literally cannot complain about the room or the hotel itself. However, it is a all inclusive 5* and you get that with the room and hotel, you do not get this with the food sadly. The food in the restaurants were extremely hit and miss and even when it was a hit it wasn't great, just edible. The asian one was the best by far so try and book into that one every night if you dont want to go out and eat. The pizza and BBQ place on the beach (included in all inclusive) are the best food there by a mile! we ate there most days! The beach is amazing, sunbeds are lovely and plentiful, no arguing for the beds or reserving them! The staff around the private beach were constantly clearing rubbish and sweeping sand off the beds. The man at the bar on the beach was lovely too. All in all, we love this hotel but would have been better if we could have booked it as bed and breakfast only and we'd have been happier eating out each night. There is a lovely family owned restaurant on the same street called ''IDEAL'' it sounds a bit rubbish but it was lush! staff there were sooo nice and friendly, we were told its their grandma that cooks all the food home made too which we could tell!

Don’t bother

Some of worst customer experience I’ve ever received. In restaurants nobody is accommodating - Infact they seem irritated that we are there with kids. Reception very inconsiderate and don’t seem to care on any requests. Wait time for drinks at hotel bar 45 mins plus. I am not fussy nor do I normally write reviews tbh. Grounds of hotel are lovely - but the cogs running it are not!

We had a good time

Very good resort, fantastic beach and seaside location. Snack stations are great, especially crepes and waffles. We tried jet ski and fishing and scuba diving in the area, was really nice experience. We met a lot of new friends here, a lot of nice people coming from other countries here and it is easy to create new bonds and enjoy big companies vacation. All in all we had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the place)

Plenty of potential! Poor organisation

The hotel is well renovated and rooms are modern and clean. Communal areas- bars, pool etc are well kept. The staff in the restaurants and bars are lovely and very attentive. Good cocktail menu and great selection of snack choices for during the day- bbq station, pizza station and creperie were lovely! Lovely private beach! We travelled with our 8 month old daughter. I emailed the hotel prior to our visit to request a cot and ask about baby facilities. My email wasn’t responded to. We arrived late at night due to a delayed flight to find that we had been allocated a room on the top floor of the hotel, in a block where there was no lift and had to climb the stairs carrying the stroller. When we got to the room there was no cot for the baby to sleep in. We asked to move rooms even though the lady at reception couldn’t really see what was wrong with our room allocation and the next day this was sorted for us. The cot was again not put into the new room, so another trip to reception to sort this out. We were told about an app for booking of the premium restaurants however the app wasn’t working that day and the iPads had been removed from the reception area to fix the issue. When we managed to get on to it we were unable to book even 1 of the restaurants. The restaurant manager told us that people book these restaurants a year in advance (we booked the holiday a month in advance so this wasn’t possible) and to come at 8.30pm to see if somebody hadn’t turned up- this wasn’t the most convenient and when we did that we were told no sorry! Even though when walking past these restaurants they were always half empty with plenty of free tables! I submitted a request on the app for a late check out due to having a baby and an evening flight. We didn’t receive a response. The phone lines to the reception went down, so I went to the front desk to be told all requests had been denied except a couple of requests for people with small children. I explained I had a small child- they gave us 2 hours rather than the requested 4 and still charged the 25 euros! Great! Overall, would I recommend the Mitsis- no, not if travelling with a small child or if you have any particular requests and need to communicate with the hotel about these requests. You will have to chase them, and little thought will be put in to any decisions. It’s such a shame as the hotel has great potential and is in a beautiful location.

Fairly nice, a few things to improve to be a 5*

Rooms nice, some minor touches to be done as our wall paper coming off. Annoying to have to book restaurants only to find all fully booked for entire trip when on first day, what is the point having nice places if you dint get chance to try them. View lovely and crepe station amazing, Check in was not great and o real introduction in where things were, what programme of activity was on and where to find information. Food in main buffet hall could be better and have more choice if restaurants fully booked, the reception and restaurant could have been renovated in keeping with rest of hotel as looks old and shabby.
