Good stay and location for me

Clean room and very nice lady at check in. There is a RR track near by but once in my room I did not hear the trains working at night. I have stayed here before, a few years ago, maybe another time also. When I made the reservation I did not realize it. This time the inside appearance was better. I arrived late but the service was still good. The one negative is that the elevator is a long walk from the front. That is when I remembered staying here before. The last time I parked in the back close to my room.

We had a nice stay. Something wrong in the original room, not a big deal. Kathleen on the audit shift switched us right away no questions asked. Everyone we talked to was great! The gentleman preparing breakfast was kind and asked how our morning was going. The gal at the front desk as we were leaving was very nice as well. Great choice for our last minute stay!
Replace their sign with Motel 6

Looks old and run down. Ok, maybe 1 step above Motel 6 but a very small step. We stayed 3 days and the first day there was a room that had a leak and it was right over the breakfast area. Water was pouring down the wall and a big puddle of water right in the middle of the floor. It took them forever to clean it up. Let’s talk about breakfast. First they posted a sign that said due to supply chain shortage we are limited on breakfast items. They weren’t kidding. Basically 2 kinds of cereal, toast and juice. They did have make your own waffles the first day and muffins but not the next 2 days. So if you stay here don’t plan on breakfast. They were telling people there is a Diner across the street. Rooms were very small and the mattress was a taco one. In other words, my wife and I would get in bed and roll to the middle because the mattress was so old and worn out it had not support. If I could have left and got my money back I would have. So disappointing. Here are a couple of pics of their breakfast at 730 Sunday morning. Love the tip jar….
Cheyenne Days Inn

Very nice, clean place to stay. Staff and guests were friendly and helpful. Location is right off the Interstate and minutes from town. Great place to stay, not my first time there and won't be the last. When I stay in Cheyenne this is the first place I check for a room.
A Pleasant Surprise

If I'm honest, we didn't expect much from the Cheyenne Days Inn by Wyndham. We have been sorely disappointed by other Days Inns, Super 8s, Microtels, Travelodges, La Quintas, Baymonts, Ramadas, AmericInns and others by Wyndham. You may wonder why we keep staying at places we find to be substandard. Well, we allowed ourselves to be duped into getting Wyndham Rewards credit cards that earn Rewards Points. These can be used for free or discounted nights at '___by Wyndham' hotels. That in and of itself isn't bad, but after we found quality and cleanliness lacking at many hotels, we became puzzled as to why Wyndham would put their name on older, run-down, long past their prime hotels. Now that we have been earning so many Wyndham Rewards Points by using our credit cards, we have to spend the Points. We're kind of stuck with the Wyndham brands of hotels. Club Wyndham resort properties are lovely, but they are in a separate part of Wyndham. Also, we seem to travel to places that don't have a Club resort. So, spend accumulated Rewards Points it is! Having said all that, our room, # 353 "2 Queen Beds, Tower Deluxe Room, Non-Smoking" turned out to be exactly as pictured on the Days Inn site. The room is attractive, spacious, clean and quiet. The mattresses are very comfortable and not broken-down so you roll to the middle. There are no odd smells, no mystery stains on the carpet, no mold or hairs in the bathtub or sink. The TV is small for the size of the room, but that's a small detail considering what kind of gruesome place we thought we may have checked into. We are pleasantly surprised with our hotel choice.
