Management very Friendly I wound up booking a room 2 weeks in advance and helped me get the same room that night! Rooms are very clean! Would recommend to anyone passing through! Brother and I were impressed! Only complaint is there are very few outlets in our room.
Absolutely Disgusting Property

I was in the final stretch of a solo cross country trip when my car broke down on i80 and had to be towed to the nearest dealership over 50 miles away. Out of options, I reluctantly booked a stay at this motel 6 since it was the only hotel within a reasonable walking distance of the auto garage my car was being repaired at. I’ve had the opportunity to stay at well over 100 hotels in my life and this particular motel 6 in Cheyenne has the unfortunate distinction of being, without question, the worst motel or hotel I have ever stayed at. As a matter of fact, the 5 days I spent stranded here were amongst the worst of my entire life. There is absolutely no redeeming quality that this place has. First of all, the rooms were absolutely disgusting. I actually wore my shoes in the room since there was so much dust and dirt on the floor. The floor even had a "sticky" quality to it. Even thinking about makes me shutter. Underneath the bed there was a layer so thick I wonder if anyone has bothered to clean it within the past few years. The toilet seat had dried urine stuck to it and the comforter on the bed was worn and covered with more dust. The motel is wedged between i25 and i80 on the outskirts of town. Aside from a vending machine, there are also basically no food options as Cheyenne is 2 miles away. The staff working here are unfriendly and for some reason they decided to build a motel right next to the BNSF line. Every night I was kept up by loud track squealing and horns as freight trains passed through Cheyenne. As the property is literally a few feet away from the track, it was almost enough to make the ground shake. As for the one “activity” the motel offers, the pool was in even worse condition than the room. The amount of dirt accumulated at the bottom along with cigarette butts and other debris floating in the water made me seriously wonder I was being pranked. On top of all this, the motel has the gaul to charge over $100 per night. I don’t think this motel is worth $5 a night. Anyway, I would highly recommend avoiding this motel 6 at all costs. I know it’s Wyoming and services are limited, but you are better off sleeping in your car than booking a stay at this dump.
Dirty and run down

I wasn't expecting much since it is a lower in motel, but my expectations were still way too high. The stay there was very subpar. The motel was dirty, dilapidated and in desperate need of repairs. My only positive that the staff friendly. Our room had many issues that made it disgusting and unappealing: • graffiti (the word “hell” on the door – partially covered but still very readable) • vent fan pulled out of the wall in the bathroom • vent fan was very loud and couldn't be controlled separate from the light • A/C return was dirty and grimy • Floor was filthy (the bottom of my feet turned black when I walked in the room barefoot) • Room had inadequate a/c and lighting • Curtains didn’t fit the curtain rod track • Window really needed sheers so curtain could be opened to allow in much needed light without allowing total visibility into the room • No hair dryer provided (I asked at the front desk if I could borrow one and they said “it” had been loaned to another guest (1 hairdryer for an entire hotel!) • The microwave had mis-matched parts (the glass turntable didn’t fit and wouldn’t rotate) • There were stains on one pillowcase, comforter and door • Pillows were in plastic bags – not comfortable The overall condition of the motel was disgusting. • Rat traps visible around the property • Dirty overflowing trash cans • Spilled drinks/food on the concrete halls and stairs (not cleaned up) • There was no coffee pot in the room and no coffee available in the front office • Electric wires hanging down around outside motel • Walls with missing paint and concrete rotted away • Pool had a sign saying closed for season but it was already July. When I inquired they said it wasn’t closed for the season but they had that sign up because they couldn’t get the pool chemicals balanced! I do not recommend this hotel.
Cute diamond in the rough.

Cozy, clean, updated, simple room with cool air conditioning and cable. Nice pool. Ice and vending machines along with laundry facilities in lobby. The only thing we were missing was a refrigerator. We bought a small cooler and we were very content.

Staying here now 4 nights 5 days with 4 rooms. I request 4 rooms in same area due to traveling with people with disabilities. I called two weeks before and made a second request for this. Yes I know it is Frontier Days but we stayed 4 nights. Lady at check in was not willing to help she said rooms were already assigned. One room in each building. After explaining again. I even said 2 rooms in same area. She was very unhelpful and just kept saying I cannot do that. Finally she could come up with 3 rooms together but not 4th room. This was at 4pm so yes sold out but many had not checked in. We had an individual get sick. I requested that room be cleaned for health concerns. Talked to the very nice morning female employee she wrote a note for it to be cleaned. Come back at 5pm not cleaned and lady from check in just said we do not clean room on multi stay overs. I explained the situation and still no exceptions not cleaning. Her response was I will do you a favor and give you a clean sheet and you can change the bed. REALLY.
