Close to one of the 8t Boots ideal location
Hotel next to Penny's Dinner. Also close to one of the 8ft boots if you are doing the Boot trail in Cheyenne. Major shops like WalMart etc. close by but the hotel is off set on a side road to the main road so not traffic noise at the hotel
Weekend
Clean, was next to a walk path that allowed us to walk the pup. Also loved the old time Cafe that was part of the property. Staff was very friendly and gave the pup plenty of attention! Didn't take long to go anywhere from the hotel
Railroad hotel - read on
Unfortunately, this hotel is what is called a "railroader" hotel. This means they contract with the railroad for the workers to stay at the hotel. The problem comes in that this means they can flip a room 3 times a day and yes, that means you can hear the vacuum cleaner going in the room above you at 1:00 AM. Yep , that is what happened to us. The staff had the "oh well" that's what you get when you stay here attitude. Soooo. don't stay there unless you don't mind a lot of traffic in the calls at all hours and to feel like you are part of the housekeeping staff as they work.
Five star without a doubt.
SUPER CLEAN SUPER NICE. It is a no fills hotel but it’s very nice. Everyone was careful and wearing the masks. It was unusual that the check in was inside the dinner but it was fine and makes for a funny story. Thank you again the the staff.
Clean and Comfortable
This is definitely a "no frills" hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, very quiet, well stocked with essential items, and staff was extremely friendly. Downsides = The Internet wasn't "great" and the beds are VERY high up. I'm 5'2" and needed to use the chair to get up into bed. But once there, they were very comfortable. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised, especially given some of the reviews I had read.
