I got a room second floor, very spacious and quite. Breakfast excellent and various. New cake and juice every days. Good position: many others pousadas are far from the center and it is difficult for driving and walking. Staff very helpfull.

Horrible hotel
Reviewed 21 november, 2022
The staff were extremally slow, rude, and even blame the guest for checking into dirty rooms that they assign. I cannot tell you how many time I saw guests coming down because their key doesn't work. Almost all the elevators were out of order and the ones that did work, had inspections dated back in 2020. There were thick dust in all the vents, stained pillow cases, tiny bath towels and had a musty smell in the room. Yes, parking is free but it is very limited and narrow. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel. This is truly one of the worst hotel I had even stayed in.

Don't bother unless you have no other option

I chose the the hotel for the simple reason that it had truck parking close to the Convention Center. It has little else to recommend it. Shower was nonfunctional, no cold water (had to put cups of water in fridge before drinking) and had to go to computer room to reheat food. And no continental breakfast. If you can find a place to park somewhere else, I would recomend against staying here. Unfortunately not a possibility for me.

Above and beyond what was normal
Reviewed 12 august, 2022
My son fell ill the day of check out and had to go to the hospital and had to leave his electronics (phone incl) and luggage at the hotel. I was in Pennsylvania and my son lives in Texas. I called the hotel and asked if they could collect his stuff and ship it to my son. They were happy to oblige and even advised me to go to FedEx myself to save money which I did. I then emailed them a label that they kindly put on a box that contained his stuff. They ended up having to hold the box for several days and assured me they were keeping an eye on it. Ultimately, my son got out of the hospital before it got shipped and he just swung by the hotel and picked up the box happy that he had his phone for the travel. I spoke with 4 different people at the hotel....Regina, Bonnie and Ashika (4th I can't remember). All very helpful and patient. I did not get any comments like "we can only hold it 2 days." I'm not sure this would have been that easy at a big "chain" hotel. I almost never write reviews but had to this time when 4 people go out of their way. The service at this hotel must be good even though I didn't stay there to witness first hand.

Clean and comfy
Reviewed 29 june, 2022
I really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean, the workers were helpful and the bed was really comfy. We did have to take a few lyfts to and from the hotel as it's not really in walking distance to the attractions such as the magnificent mile or navy pier but definitely worth the stay.
