Not worth the cost with private gate closed

Reviewed 18 july, 2022

Extremely expensive for food and drinks the hotel grounds and settings are beautiful but I have to say you feel ripped off when you leave even breakfast is not included and you can have either pancake or eggs for $13.50 given. You can both in town for $3/4 . The food is also served well but tastes better in the street cafes in town at a fraction of the price . Would I stay again no , was it pleasant yes butwhile the private gate to chichen is closed the other hotels are just as good . There is no over and above here to warrant the cost

Great location

Cute hotel with a nice pool (super refreshing after a long hot day). We stayed there before visiting Chichén Itzá, which let us get to the site right as it was opening. We parked right at the entrance and beat the crowds and the heat. Only one outlet in the room though, so plan accordingly.

Good location

We stayed a couple of nights here as it was very close to Chichen Itza, a short drive away. The room was very comfortable (room 11) & the food and service was very good. It has a nice pool and the grounds are lovely. We did go for a Yaxkin spa maya ritual which we did enjoy but it is very expensive. There is a small chapel within the grounds. I would say its a nice place to stay for a couple of nights but beyond that there is not a lot to do. The grounds and hotel are very relaxing.

Great Place to Stay Chichen Itza

Reviewed 11 june, 2022

We had a great time staying at this Hacienda. The rooms were great, the restaurant was convenient, and we had the swimming pool all to ourselves. Super beautiful property with a ton of history. Best place to stay close to Chichen Itza. We were at the park gates by 8:30 a.m. Hired a great guide, Elideo, and were done by 11:00 a.m. Absolute best way to beat the crowds. The grounds of the hotel are perfectly manicured. If you go past the parking lot, you will find a sweet church in the back. It has a beautiful altar and painting. Hotel staff was professional and top-notch.

Tourist focused, commercial and nature bound

Reviewed 13 april, 2022

Hi, Please see below a very honest review of the hotel, positive and also negative. The Garden area is beautiful and also in a very nice and welcoming condition. A big pool welcomes you to take a swim or sun bath. Also the main house is very charming and welcoming. The restaurant serves good food with also considering a touristy place ok prices. The resort is very nature focused, which i recognise as very positive and supportive. But we had to sign a waiver which prohibits guests to consume or carry any food or drinks such as water to your room. The hotel says to keep away bugs and animals. That makes sense and we agree with. The staff emptied our fridge in the room with our sandwiches we bought for a day trip and also water and beer gave us the feeling of attending a middle school holiday camp. They said we will receive our food back when we check out. We where also thinking of having lunch at the resort, but the hotel concierge told us we should come back in an hour, due to the fact several tourist buses where coming to have lunch. WiFi is only working in the public area. Not in the rooms. The rooms are very rustic and nature connected. Which brings your room to live especially when you are not best friends with spiders and other bugs (dead or alive). The Mold in the shower is also not very attractive. Otherwise all good and I wish you a pleasant stay
