Clean and Comfortable if not a little dated
Reviewed 10 december, 2019
We stayed at the Copper Canyon Boutique Hotel on Saturday December 7th, we checked in at 230 P.M. were given a room. There is construction outside the hotel which made it a little troublesome to get to but overall it was fine. The parking is gated and appears very secure. The room was very clean if maybe a little dated but overall fine. There was only 2 plugs in our room and they were on a wall under the tv, and 2 in the restroom. We had a clock radio and lamp but they weren't plugged in and no plugs near them. Breakfast came included, I didn't have anything but my wife did and said it was fine. The only real problem was the shower, so every 15-20 seconds the water would go scolding hot, then 15 seconds would pass and turn freezing cold, then hot, then cold, then hot, then cold. It was really the only issue. Other than that the hotel is fine.
Bad Experience with reservation via Expedia
Reviewed 7 august, 2018
I did make a 2 room reservation for 2 adults and 2 minors in every room.. I did it via Expedia... Expedia made a mistake with the number of persons per room.. They made the reservation for 1 adult and 1 minor.... I didn't realize of this mistake... When I arrived to the Hotel (10:00 PM) the reservation was incorrect.... The guy in the front desk was very rude, unkind, telling me "That's happens because you did make the reservation via Expedia"... I called to the Expedia Call center.. they tried to be helpful, but the solutions they offered to me were for 15 days after my stay.. The only outstanding thing in that Hotel is the lady on charge of the restaurant... If you reserve with Expedia, please double check your confirmation!!!!!!
Not Good Enough - even for one night

Check-In super slow, no breakfast box for early departures (but included in Price), room dated and of questionable cleaniness. Breakfast (on 2nd visit) acceptable, in a plain room. Hotel reported to Hotels.com that I was a no-show... and sofar did not get resolved. Although I paid by credit card. Be warned, airport taxi likes to use more expensive pay zone. THere are better hotels in same category avail.
Good modern hotel

After crossing into Mexico at San Jeronimo we thought Chihuahua would be enough driving for the day. We got lost trying to find the hotel, which is actually easy to find if you are on 45 on the east side of the city. A resident saw us asking directions at a Pemex station and had us follow him to the hotel in his car - gotta love Mexicans! The hotel is modern, front desk staff were helpful, the restaurant was basic but acceptable. Parking is in a secure gated area behind the hotel...we could see our car from our room. The front desk staff keep music on through the night, so ask for a room far from the lobby and hotels if you are a light sleeper. Overall a solid 4/5.
Give them a 10+

It was our last night staying in the city of Chihuahua and they sure left the best impression going to great customer service to great complimentary breakfast and great beds. We left something valuable in our room and they retrieved it and sent it back to us in the states.
