Hidden Gem
If one is looking for an international hotel, look no further than this property. It is located directly opposite the train station, which is next to the Gongbei/Macau border gate. Hotel is a little hard to locate as the main entrance is at the side road but lookout for the Burger King which is at the main road. The entrance is behid the Burger King. Rooms are clean and well maintain. Breakfast has a good selection which is of international standard. Staff are friendly and willing to help. There are a lot of eateries on the back street including a 24hr supermarket.
Casual trip
We ordered business superior room and got a corner one. Kind of China style typical hotel but I found this one quite clean overall. The TV provided many hk update movies and we watched two of them. Breakfast was ok not much western and to me it is average. The staff in gym was nice and friendly to show us around. Pool was nice and I did enjoy at night, even changing room staff was polite and friendly. A bit expensive but very close to border and was nice stay.
Simple hotel
The hotel is close to border to Macao. But is very hard to find it because hotel don't have designation. Hotel isn't old but looks very old. Room was very simple with basic equipment. The bathroom was ugly. Breakfast was only chinese. If you want go to Macau you have to go early morning (7-8 a. m.) because in the border is later too much people. The staff don't speak english.
near border gate, but hard to find
People don't know this hotel even u have map, name, address. Anyway this hotel is near gate and bus stop on right hand side. Room is smoking smelly all day. We stayed 3 days with unhappy smelly. Dirty, Smelly, Old.
Excellent location and prices
Initially, I choose Kee Kwan Hotel because of the location and prices. After 3 hours journey from ShenZhen (Luoho long distance bus station), the bus stopped at Kee Kwan bus station, one of the entrance of underground shopping mall.Go through the shopping mall (Exit Xi-Yi Men), can reach the hotel easily within walking distance. The next morning, I walked to Gongbei port to exit Zhuhai and enter Macau without any transportation! Somemore, from hotel go to Lian Hua Road also within walking distance. My friends and I felt happy and praised me because made a wise choice. What surprised us is the big size of the room, not only for 3 persons ( superior triple) but big enough for 6 person if don't mind to sleep on floor. Beside a room with 3 beds and TV, there is another room with sofa and TV. It's value for money because for me location, prices and cleanliness are the main factors for traveling, and we slept well.
