We booked the hotel as a late winter break . Located on the main road through Chipping Camden and free parking on the road side . As part of the deal we had a meal included on one night of the two . Excellent meal and great breakfasts . Service very good . Our room was in an apartment at the rear of the hotel . Large bedroom and bathroom . Hotel had a spa but you have to book a slot in advance . As the slot offered was at lunch time on the departure day we weren’t able to use it. Hotels sister hotel which was opposite, Noel Arms was also very nice . We had a meal and drinks on the other night which was also excellent . Nice three days

Perfect night away treat. We used a Travelzoo offer - booked in July. We were welcome and immediately offered early checkin with a room upgrade to Room6 overlooking the High Street. The room is a little tired but spotlessly clean, and I’ve heard a rumour that they are undergoing a spruce up early next year! Waffle dressing gowns, slippers, fluffy towels, great coffee in the room and White Company toiletries. We had pre-booked a spa session 2 hrs, think they are running this at max 10 people currently - small pool, bubble lounger and steam room, water chiller, sparkling clean everywhere! We had pre-booked dinner - fabulous food, friendly service. Log fires lit, Christmas sparky lights and a beautiful tree. Breakfast the following morning was pre-ordered and again relaxed and perfectly cooked. We had a late checkout to enjoy on a snowy morning with our pre-ordered paper. Well done Cotswold House - your staff make this little hotel! We hope to return!
Wonderful 50th Birthday Stay

A lovely time spent at this wonderful hotel for my husbands birthday. We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea and an excellent evening meal. The quality of food is amazing and the service from the staff could not be faulted. The spa area is beautiful but unfortunately I experienced a bad fall - slipping on the tiles around the pool area. I believe there must have been treatment oil on the floor as it was beyond slippy. This really must be addressed as the next person may not be as lucky as I hope I was (still painful but hopefully will ease soon) The staff in the spa were extremely caring and helpful and it was much appreciated, thank you. Despite this we loved our stay and would love to come back - hopefully in January to celebrate my birthday this time!

Wonderful few days spent in Chipping Campden at this excellent hotel. Generous rooms guanteed a great nights sleep despite being on the High Street side of the hotel (room #5). Luxurous bathroom including all the essential extras. Great to see care and attention to ensure that the condiments for tea/coffee we stored in the fridge (rather than the usual left out on the side). Excellent breakfast that set us up for the day exploring the locality. Nothing was too much trouble when speaking to the staff. We didn't get a chance to sample the spa. Certainly highly recommended. Good sized car park at the rear (although street parking nearby is free too)

Very much enjoyed a two night break here on a Travel Zoo deal. Our room was a little disappointing in decor but was spotlessly clean with a large and comfortable bed, these, I think, being the most important in a hotel room. Good quality toiletries, huge, fluffy, towels, a well stocked tea/coffee tray and a small fridge with bottled water all an added bonus. Our evening meals were excellent, a varied menu to choose from and food well cooked and presented. A good wine menu too. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst remaining professional . All worked so very hard with the receptionist helping out at breakfast one morning when they were short staffed. The same can be said of the staff in the spa, very friendly and helpful. I had a massage from Val, she was SO good! The pool is lovely but small. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we would certainly be happy to return. Thank you to all the staff.
