Excellent for families
We had a great experience at The Hampton Inn Eastlake location. The facility follows strict Covid-19 precautions. We felt safe/protected while enjoying the hotel's amenities. The staff is wonderful. Will definitely return.
I love your staff!
I had the best stay while in Chula Vista. Comic-con was cancelled but I came out because Hilton wouldn’t refund or cancel my trip. Despite the corporate lack of customer service the ladies at your front desk made it clear why I still choose Hilton. They were forever smiling, helpful and quick to check in about our day, our dinner, or our stay. Traveling during this time is already stressful, but I actually felt like I was on vacation at your hotel. The gym was in amazing working order, the pool was available and the whole team was just a gift to stay with. The only small negative remark we had was about the room cleaning. We scheduled one during our stay. Housekeeping took all our towels (which were quickly replaced by the front desk staff) and left hair all over the bathroom. I can’t thank the awesome ladies who forever smiled, greeted us, and laughed at our snarky comments regarding the lack of concern corporate had towards our personal health. I will forever stay in your hotel when comic con happens, and for many other chances I get throughout the year.
Very Well Done
Our stay here was amazing ! Front desk staff were courteous and polite, very welcoming. Room and hotel looked new. We stayed when covid was happening but the pool was still open and our bagged breakfast was really good. It included a hot bagel breakfast sandwich, pastry and granola bar. Coffee was also available. Other hotels could learn something from how well this hotel is managed and dealing with covid. I will definitely stay again when in the area.
Needs improvement
I booked a room for myself and my disabled sister. We choose the hotel because they had a roll in shower. When we checked in our room had been changed to a regular room. We were told that they didn’t have any more roll in shower rooms and blamed Expedia. They then proceeded to offer a king bed with a sofa bed or to sell me another another room at a discount. We were told the room we reserved would be available the next day. That didn’t happen. So we were given an upgrade. What they neglected to tell us was they only had maid service twice a week. Yet we were not given any discount on our bill. The grab and go breakfasts were inconsistent the first day there was a muffin, granola bar and a fruit. The rest on the days only a fruit and granola bar. Management needs to improve customer relations and follow through with reservations from third party bookings instead of blaming the third party as a way of avoiding responsibility.
Very Nice & Fresh Place
This place is only a few months old so everything worked properly. Nice room, very clean and the breakfast was very good. Typical HI. Wished they had an AM newspaper. That would be my only complaint. All of the staff were very good.
