Buen hotel
Nos quedamos en este hotel solo un par de noches. Estuvimos en esta ciudad de paso para ir desde allí a las islas del Golfo de Tailandia. Es un hotel viejo pero está muy limpio, es bastante amplio, tiene desayuno incluido (habia tostadas, platos tailandeses, huevos fritos recién hechos, café, zumo, té). Tiene todo lo básico que se necesita, la cama estaba muy bien, había aire acondicionado en la habitación, televisión por cable, agua caliente y wifi gratuito. Necesitábamos un servicio de taxi para ir al muelle y coger el ferry y el personal, aunque hablaba muy poco inglés, nos ayudó y nos puso en contacto con un taxista. Por el precio, está más que bien.
Not great
We stayed for one night on our way from Koh Tao to Bangkok (we were getting the bus at 10am the next morning from Chumphon). The room was as it looked on the listing but there were a lot of these awful small bugs all over our room... in the bathroom, on the side table and on the bed, which made us very uncomfortable and itchy. The only way we managed to calm down the situation was to spray some deet around the room. Very dated hotel and not much around.

There's free coffee in the foyer. The aircon is old style which does the job but works slowly. There are no power sockets next to the bed. It's quiet and I got a good nights sleep. Friendly check in staff printed off my train ticket for me.
Pretty good
Some faults in the bathroom but generally a good place. No power sockets near the bed which makes the phone charging a bit more complicated. Didn'T have the breakfast but there are many foodplaces around the area.
Old hotel but nice
I stayed 3 nights in the standard room . Nice big clean room with a/c (it is old last century air condition works only like a fan ( ventilator ) not depends what coldness temperature you set ), TV, fridge, 2 bottles of water are free every day, hot water, the bathroom amenities ( soap and shampoo are in the dispenser near shower ). Shower head is horrible- it is green color and rusty. Comfortable bed and pillows. 2 comfortable chairs and small table. Convenient location in the depth of the main busy and dusty street therefore there is quiet in the rooms. Walking distance to songtaews stops ( to Thung Wua Laen beach, to Sai Ri beach) , markets, 7/11, Family Mart and Big 1 store. Ocean Shopping Mall 7 minutes by walk. The staff very helpfulness and friendliness and try to execute everything the guests needs. I liked this hotel and would advice to all friends of mine to stay there .
