Nice hotel

The hotel is very nice. Nice and quiet front yard, small swimming pool, restaurant with very delicious pancakes etc. It is not at a beach but there are beash on walking distance or more beautiful beaches in few minutes driving.

This mom and pop hotel can compete with the big hotel chains. Radda and Raul do an excellent job keeping the rooms clean and updated. This is some of the best wifi I have encountered at any hotel. They don't charge you extra for this extremely important amenity and their rooms come with flat screens along with charter/spectrum cable. Johnson County is a dry county, and it never hurts to have a place that serves alcohol close by. Crosswoods is a locally owned steakhouse with a full service bar and in the same parking lot as the Sunset Inn. It also doesn't hurt the theater is across the road. There's also a Chinese restaurant and a country kitchen in the same lot.

I traveled a bit this month to visit some friends on back to back weekends. The weekend after was in Corning, AR. The first weekend of the month actually is when I came here. I enjoyed the free continental breakfast just cause my wife and I don't eat heavy on breakfast. The WiFi was free and the people running it were nice too. Clean room with a fridge and microwave and flat screen tv for a budget is great. I stayed here a few times actually through 2016 and 2017. I like how close by the interstate is and the restaurants nearby are good.

Regret booking this place

Pros were the low price, ability to bring in pets, mini fridge, and microwave. Cons were an unfriendly attendant, awful "continental breakfast", musty room with small pillows, hard bed, and thin walls. Staying here was pretty miserable and wouldn't recommend it.

Came to Clarksville to ride motorcycles. There was a large lot for parking our trailer. Hotel is independently owned and the owner was super helpful. Furniture did not all match, but bed was comfortable and room was clean. Improvements were in progress. If you are five star picky, pass, if you want value and need a clean place to sleep, book it. Restaurant within walking distance. We will be back next year and stay again.
