Comfortable beds, room, good harbor view. Backside of hotel which overlooks the harbor is nice, except on weekends there is quite a lot of loud music from a local rest/bar - open very late...something to keep in mind. Breakfast was fine, lots of choices.

Skip this hotel if you can, besides the great location this hotel is definitely not the best place to stay!!!

When we arrived, we were greeted by a Hispanic descent young girl who did not smile or feel welcoming at all.. when I asked her a question about facility she gave me one word answer. 2nd night I go to get ice and the ice machine is not working. I go down to lobby and was greeted with “It’s not working, get it from the end of this hall!” The staff and breakfast are horrible and besides the location i would not recommend at all. When I return I will definitely find another hotel!! I paid 1000.00 for 3 nights and you would think you would get better service!!

Unfortunately, I have to give this hotel a bad review. The room was okay, relatively spacious, but there was a weird musty smell in the room and hallway. The Wi-Fi is pretty inconsistent. Continental breakfast is ok. The hotel staff are pretty nice. The location is very convenient to the beach. The most concerning part of our experience, and reason for 2 stars, is due to a safety hazard. When we entered the pool one night, my husband jumped right in. Then, I noticed that someone had defecated in the pool. It was disgusting. There were many pieces of feces spread throughout the bottom of the pool. We notified the staff. When we checked back less than an hour later, we saw that the majority of the feces had been removed but a few small pieces had been missed. No sign was present to alert guests about the issue, and the pool was never closed down for full cleaning. Given that there is an additional mandatory “amenity package” fee of $29+tax a night that includes use of the pool, I would expect that the facilities would be kept clean. This was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and i would not feel comfortable using the pool for the rest of our stay. Overall, including all the fees, this hotel was almost $500/night. However, the quality of the facilities is budget (motel) level at best. The service is decent and you’re mostly paying for the location. Keep your expectations low.

Great location, good price.

We booked at the last minute due to hurricane Ian destroying our previously booked location. We were in a partial sea view room and given 1011. This room was great. Helpful reception (except for the young lady who seemed very disinterested). The buffet breakfast was ok, for us. The cleaning crew are great, rooms cleaned every day and spotless. Great location, opposite the beach and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. Jimmy's rooftop bar was fun, great service. Our only quibble ( a minor one) is the pillows, as mentioned by previous reviews, too small and cumbersome. Also when booked it stated total amount included all taxes and charges but we were charged $32 a night resort fee?

Still a great place to stay....but one pet peave....

I have been staying here at Pier 60 House for several years. Even though some newer venues have since been established here in Clear water Beach in that time, this is still my favorite place to stay. Issue: in the last four days I have had to have my key card re scanned three times. So here is the pet peave.... Why do they still have door keys (electronic cards) that still need to be protected from: Electronics eg: cellphones, tablets, blutooth devices and yes even the other credit cards in your wallet. How do are you supposed to acrry these and have them availble and safe? Just about evryone hase one of these on there person at all times. I travel extensively staying at major hotel chains and have never experienced this issue. I believe that the hotel can provide a more dependable option then what they crrrently use. I hope for future stays this will be resolved as this isnt a deal breaker, but something that would make a stay here less frustrasting. Again just a pet peave, but I am sure one that others find a pain but dont take the time to mention.....
