Do NOT book here. It is neither safe nor hygienic.

Reviewed 18 april, 2022

I booked for 2 nights. The rooms were awful. The first one I stayed in, the bathroom sink was significantly rusted and not safe for use. I asked to be moved and was moved to another room. The toilet in that room was not cleaned and I called front desk. Her response was "Again?!" They came by and cleaned the toilet. I purchased disinfectant from the corner store and cleaned the bathroom myself before use. Then that night, water from upstairs leaked through the ceiling of the bathroom. I went to front desk and asked to be moved to a third room and that one stunk of smoke and had ants in the kitchen. I asked for early checkout and to not be charged for the second day and I was still charged. This place is not hygienic or safe for public use. They cut corners on all aspects, including housekeeping and maintenance. I would NEVER recommend this place, even for my worst enemy (if I had one).

Management is EVIL, they made us homeless for the night

Reviewed 10 march, 2022

We had a 3-day reservation booked well in advance. We arrived there at 5pm on a Saturday night, ready to check in. They didn't have the rollaway bed we paid for and wouldn't do anything to accommodate us (I wanted the $$ back we had paid for the rollaway, and to see how much room there was on the floor because there weren't enough beds now), so we told them not to cancel our reservation, but we would look into other options. While I was on the phone talking to Choice Hotels, the front desk lady interrupted me and yelled out that she cancelled my reservation. I asked to talk to the manager but she said the manager made the decision. It turns out the prices had gone up 300% from the price we paid, and if they cancelled they could make more $$ and not get a potentially bad review for their booking mistake. It was cold outside and my family was waiting in the car and my cellphone wasn't fully charged, so I sat on the lobby couch to attempt to make a reservation somewhere else. She told me to get out. At this point I knew hotels were really booked up and my cellphone was almost dead and had to be plugged in, and I didn't want to leave because I needed my phone plugged in to find a place to stay. She called the police and this seems to be her standard method of cancelling reservations when there is an issue. Police issued me a trespassing notice but then helped me attempt to find a room, to no avail. For 6 hours we searched, and at 11 pm we finally gave up and slept in the car in a Walmart parking lot. It was cold, I got a crick in neck and got a massive migraine the next day while we were still homeless. So I spent the day puking in a car in the parking lot on our vacation, thanks to these nasty people who have no human decency. While we were there, two other customers were furious with the front desk lady for other issues.

Not recommended, cannot reach anyone prior to checking in

I had booked a stay at this hotel through Hotels.com, but had to cancel. The cancelation policy was to be charged 1 night stay, which was completely understandable, but they did not stop at 1 night they charged my account for the entire stay. Hotels.com said I had to wait 7-10 business days for my money back. I don't understand why I got charged and Hotels.com said the property would be who did that and I would need to contact them, but there is a problem. I have been trying day and night to call this hotel and it just continues to ring no one answers the phone to be able to speak to anyone. I have worked for a Choice hotel and I know they can change the option at the hotel level to charge only for one night, so there was no reason to charge me for an entire stay when I did not stay. I am usually a fan of Choice hotels, but after this I will do my research before booking with a Choice hotel.

Disgusting gross halfway house, prostitution hotel

Reviewed 28 february, 2022

I checked in on sunday February 20th. Omg where to begin? I thought it was odd checking in through a sliding hoass window like a drive through. The young man gave me and he could barely form a sentence not to sure if he was in something. Right there i should have known. While walking past open doors of other rooms it was apparent that this hotel is for crackheads and meth addicts. Maybe the dead giveaway was the two guys strung out two doors down on the balcony as i had to step over them. The best was opening the door and walking into the room. Holy shoot it looked like a place where when someone gets out of prison and needs a place to live. I opened one drawer of the dresser and three cockroaches ran. Maybe it was the sink, dirt on the bathroom mirror or was it the poop in the toilet that was the sign this place was frightening and gross. I turned around went back to the sliding window and told him the person wtf is this. Mind you this took only five minutes and this jagaloon at the window says “when did you check in?” I handed him my key and wanted my money back. Still waiting to be reimbursed. Oh lets not forget this place is next to a strip joint. Absolutely DO NOT even drive by this place.

Dirty, Smelly, Disgusting and overcharged

Reviewed 26 february, 2022

I made a reservation for a ground floor room. When I arrived they said that the only first floor room they had was a "special smoking room". Special indeed, it had a basket of dirty laundry blocking the door, was grossly dirty, the cold water did not work, no chairs in the room, the TV did not work and it reeked of smoke. Hotels.com said the place was pet friendly with no mention of a pet charge, but when I arrived the hotel up-charged me for a small dog. STAY AWAY!
