Close to the main railway station, downtown Clermont Ferrand
Nothing wonderful but convenient and rather clean. It is easy to find that hotel just in front of the railway station, prices are OK regarding the offered quality. Do not imagine something great, but you will sleep well there.
Nicest hosts !!!
I was struggling with a burglary happened in that city, and the hosts of this hotel were so nice and helpful to me and my friends. They genuinely understood our situation and nicely gave a hand to supervize our luggage while we were at the police station to report. Besides, the room is really clean and confortable, so i will definitely suggest anyone to go there, and it's near the train station by the way :) What is pity is the type of restaurants we can find nearby, but fortunately they also have their own restaurant which was pretty good whne we tried!
Restaurant Review.....
I had tried to book the hotel but it was full and I dined there on evening. The receptionist was also the restaurant waiter so was very busy and the quality of service wasn't so good. I'm not so keen on someone taking my order and serving my food on the end of a phone.
Great location for the train station
We chose this hotel as it was a good price and very close to the train station (we were catching an early train the following day). The service from the staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean but basic. There was no air-con and it was quite warm. Bathroom was basic again but functional. Nothing really bad to say about this hotel but nothing that great to say either other than its location for the train.
Comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent Food
Situated opposite the railway station, this hotel looks nothing special from the outside, although new signage was being fitted when we stayed. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Although we booked six months in advance my wife and I were placed in a family room. Not too much room to manouvre with a double and two singles in a wedge shaped room. However all was forgiven when we went down for evening meal. The food choice was varied and what we ordered was excellent. We got chatting to the Manager about music and ended up spending a pleasant few hours listening to the Blues and sharing a few beers. A perfect evening.
