The hotel is right by the road but you don't here the traffic, fortunately. The pool is ok but it looks a bit filthy in my opinion, it's nice to be in a pool though. Our room was reasonable, 2 double beds and a good size bathroom. In the morning I woke up to a horrible stench that smelt like the sewers! And it was even worse outside the rooms! It's not the nicest hotel and I would not recommend it for more than 2 nights.😀👍🏼

Great place but not Pet friendly

Yes Trip advisor you need to get this fixed because it is not pet friendly but the staff made an exception which I really appreciated. Its not a brand new hotel but it has all the services that you need not water is more like lukewarm but it works

We stopped here because unfortunately with a pet you do not have many options. The pet friendly shown on TripAdvisor is not correct. We booked on another site that did specify no pets here but we thought we'd take our chances since there are not a lot of options in this town to begin with. The first problem is no one speaks any English and unfortunately we don't speak any Spanish. Maybe the miscommunication worked in our favor because they didn't understand me asking about us bringing in our pet. The room was paid for and we were put in an upstairs room. Then they realized their mistake or should I say ours. Either way they were VERY NICE and thank goodness for our phone translations because we settled on our pet being put in her kennel and a downstairs room. Of course we know our pet does not bark and it was strictly a place to sleep before we hit the road again. Thankfully they have a restaurant on site so we could order food to the room. We felt bad putting them in an awkward position but when we left they were again very nice and the one girl at the restaurant next to the lobby was so happy to see our sweet dog as we carried her out in her kennel. We were very thankful they made the exception but I think it stressed us all out - lol

Disappointing

We arrived there in the night, and the staff was very helpful with getting our luggage to the room. The room smelled like old cigarrettes and the look wasn't flattering at all either. In the morning at 8am the children started playing and being noisy in the swimming pool, and it woke me up after 4 hours of sleeping. Then we decided to wake up and head for the breakfast, nobody told us that it only included two different options, tacos or eggs, with few options to add to them. I was so disappointed.. The hotel was way too expensive.

Nice Surprise

I was travelling across country and was tired and looking for a place to end my day, when I saw this very nice looking hotel. My first thought was it was going to be expensive and I was tired of spending to much money on hotels. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and exceptionally surprised at the staff and the reception I received at the desk. They were all smiles and welcoming, even though it was not early and I am sure they too were tired. The manager, perhaps owner mentioned a free breakfast in the morning. I got to my room, it was wonderful, huge kingsize bed, not too hard, which is HIGHLY unusual for Mexico..Everything was perfect..even a REAL coffee maker with REAL coffee! Due to the lateness of my arrival I did not see until morning, how beautiful the courtyard was. I opened my door in the morning and was a very nice size pool surrounded by a very large beautifully groomed courtyard to sit and relax, take a swim and have a cervasa or two though out the day. The breakfast looked lovely, although I had no time to partake. The manager took time out of his very busy schedule to google a map for me to find my way not just out of his city easily, but to arrive safely to my destination with no problems. This was above and beyond in my opinion. I will defiantly be staying in this wonderful hotel again and I highly recommend others stay as well. My only regret is I do not have the time to stay and enjoy the ambience this hotel has to offer, I hope that whoever reads this takes a few extra days and experiences what i believe will be fantastic.
