Hotel Holl Garni

Stayed here for one night with a group of friends on motorbike tour. Cheap and cheerful is how I'd describe it. Massive garage a minute up the road where we stored the bikes overnight, but yes, stopping outside could be tricky as the garage access to the neighbouring property is tight. Not an issue though, as we off loaded the bikes, the kit was looked after by the staff whilst we went and parked the bikes in the secure garage. It literally is a minutes walk away! The hotel rooms were fine, though there is no air con but I knew that before we travelled. The staff were really helpful both checking in and out, serving us beers in the evening then breakfasts in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble. I would advise getting a room on the back if possible though, as a couple of the guys said the traffic started around 6am, and the road grew steadily busier but again, not a major. Thoroughly enjoyed the huge breakfast spread before we headed off to collect the bikes, bring them back to the hotel leaving them pretty much on the pavement outside, before loading them up and setting off. Definitely recommend the hotel if you are looking for somewhere quick and easy for an overnight stop. Not sure I'd stay here as a base for several days though.

Not the fanciest hotel in town, but it's practical, clean and the price is reasonable. Also, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are great. The young lady at the front desk with the blonde hair is just a gem. I would definitely stay here again.

3 of us stayed at Hotel Holl, we travelled on our motorbikes, the hotel has secure parking for motorbikes, which is excellent, the hotel owner also let me use his selection of tools, to fix a minor problem I had. Customer service was excellent, rooms clean, fresh towels every day, nice beds, powerful shower etc. Good selection of food for breakfast, even for a vegetarian like me. The owners go out of their way, to provide great service. Only 5min walk from main town as well. I will return again without a doubt.

Me and my family stayed here during our summer holliday in germany! We found the hotel charming and IT was Well worth the money The rooms had Windows you could open all the way up! The hotel had no elevator, so i dont recomend this hotel If you need an elevator! The had a vending machine in the hall.. you could buy chocolate, nuts, beverages and so on.. Breakfast was Very Nice IT took us about 5 minutes to walk down to mosel! The hotel is lokated 50 metres from the sesselbahn! The staff in the reception i give My best recomendations.. Very polite, good english skills and alway smiling at you! I will definetly Stay at holl again!

The receptionist was very unfriendly and arrogant at first. No possibility to park our 9 bikes for 15 min outside the hotel. We should pay 3 euro for one bike to park in the garage and we couldn´t use the garage after 6pm. The beds in the 4-bedroom was 2 of the bed not meant to sleep on, it was more for a sitting. The beds was very uncomfortable!!!! Really a very bad offer from the hotel Holl. In the morning was we not able to take with us our hand/and small backpack to the restaurant area.Just unbelievable!!! Very noisy outside the rooms whom had window to the street, 4 a,clock in morning was the dustpincar coming and woke up all sleeping guest! I will not recommend anybody to this unfriendly hotel.
