Worst Stay / Owners are RUDE
I made the Reservations online prior to getting there. Our experience was the worst. The air conditioner did not work and the owner said that there was nothing he could do. It was so hot we couldn't sleep. The beds are hard as rock and might as well sleep on the floor. We only had four pillows for a family of four that are so old they don't hold your head up. They lady at the front desk was upset that I asked for 2 extra pillows. The was no soap at all to wash your hands. In the morning when I went down to talk to the owner about the AC again she was so rude. There was no sorry or I can adjust your bill... nothing. I strongly suggest not staying at this location.
Adequate- but overpriced
Room okay, bathroom had black mold on tiles. No coffee in lobby unless you asked and then they had to make it. Very inconvenient.Good breakfast but every morning we had to get a voucher then drive a couple of miles to the location. Pool in middle of parking lot.
Lying about great service to stay in business
Reservation made online prior to stay. Arrived after midnight with knowledge that reservation was not to be canceled until 7am. Night manager was nice, but it doesn't excuse that my reservation was taken out of system. To get it back in took over 10 minutes. by the time we got the key in the room door, 20 minutes had passed. the room was covered with water from the air conditioner that made it impossible to stay in it. Called night manager who said he was on his way with a new room and keys. I watched through the door as he opened several rooms and went back to office twice for different keys. this process took over 20 minutes. total time to finally get into a room was about 40 minutes. I asked him about compensation for the issue. he only replied that he upgraded our room to one with a kitchenette. This was not an upgrade. we didn't use the kitchenette at all and wouldn't since it was dirty and needed cleaning. The room didn't even have an iron or board. When asked was told we would have to come to office to get one. Upon check out, the day manager practically accused us of taking the iron and board since we left it in the room. She then refused to compensate for issue, and said the night manager was doing us a favor by upgrading us to a room that cost more than the one I paid for. I informed her that moving us for a room issue that made it impossible to use the room was not a request we made. It had to be done. The manager only gave us what he thought was a clean room with short notice. She also said, they went out of their way to accommodate my disability, by getting a room on the first floor, as I asked. I informed her that at no time, did I even mention my disability to the night manager. I never asked for room on first floor. She then said she wasn't empowered, to give any type of compensation. I would have to speak with the general manager, who she says wasn't in the time. I had to ask for the manager's name which she wasn't eager to share. I have yet to speak with him. I have since contacted my bank, I was informed by letter that they have never been able to speak with the manager either. It is clear that they have been done this before. It appears that they are posting fake 4 and 5 star reviews, to make their location appear better. I will continue to contact anyone I can at the corporate level to receive my money back.
Cheap and very clean
Stayed here with my husband for one night. The staff we encountered were exceptionally polite and helpful. Room was huge, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. No complaints from us. We would stay here again if we are ever passing through this way again.
Moderate
Ok if just need overnight stay but pool area very exposed - basically on the car park and breakfast says over the road but was in fact not within walking distance and had a set choice, if you want any extra like fruit juice as well as tea or coffee you have to pay for this. We visited cocoa beach three times during our holiday in Florida as we was meeting a family member every saturday who works on the cruise ship and compared to the other properties we had stayed in, but were fully booked for our last return the econo lodge was not good value for money. The room also smelt fusty which we think was the air conditioning unit, the bed however was comfortable and room size generous.
