Budget hotel, worth the price
All the things you need for a good night's sleep! The front desk woman was very busy & very VERY nice. The bathtub didn't have a stopper, so even though the list of amenities includes a bathtub, it wasn't available for use. Also, it took a while for the water to get warm in the shower. Thermostat/temperature control was great, & the room was very clean & comfortable.
Best Motel 6 we’ve stayed in.
My husband and I just moved here from out of state. While we are waiting for our house to finish build we are temporarily taking up residence here. The staff here is by far the best group of people. Ms. Jackie at the front desk has been so helpful and absolutely a delight to work with. Holly, one of the cleaners has made sure we are always taken care of with towels or whatever we need. This is a very stressful time for my husband our dogs and myself and this location has been so wonderful. Without a doubt it has been the best location. They have kept us sane.
Poor management
Had a reservation set months in advance. Hurricane came close to cocoa and they shut down whitch is understandable. But didnt borther to call to let us know they where shutting down til we got there. No help from them what so ever just sorry about your luck. Willnever stay there again.
Good value for a short stay
Basic room as expected- fairly clean (floor a bit grubby - could have been us though as there was no where to rinse off after coming back from the beach!). Comfy enough but were only using it as a place to sleep. Room felt damp- air con kept room cool but didn't clear condensation. But location makes this a good value option- walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping made it a good base for KSC visit. And pool was small but quiet and welcome after a longish drive to get there. Slightly uneasy about a ground floor facing the road- but reception staff re-assured me that would be safe and quiet and area seemed fine.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
I stayed at this hotel approx. 3yrs ago and had ZERO complaints. My Grandma and I stayed here for 2 nights. 1st, we were given a key to a room that was not clean. Housekeeping hadn't even been through it yet. We left to go to the beach, and our key wouldn't let us back into the room. We were told they couldn't come up, and that the salt in air affected the key(get real.) The next day we attempted to get bath towels since 11am, and they finally had clean towels at 7pm. Mind you, you only get 2 towels per room. We went to dinner to come back, and find out our entire fridge went out. We then had to pack ALL our stuff and move into a different room. That now 3rd room was disappointing. There was food on the walls, food stains on the bed, pubic hair on top of the toilet, and the insulation coming out of A/C unit that was FILTHY. I am no 5 star hotel seeker, but when I pay $185 for 2 nights, I expect better. I expect to get what I paid for, at minimum. I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. I also encourage others to find somewhere else to stay. Pay the extra $20/night to not have the headache. This turned a weekend that was suppose to be relaxing, into a headache. It sucks especially when you really needed a weekend to relax and not have everything go wrong with your room. Never again!
