We cannot say enough about this wonderful place! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by lovely staff...we had a delicious lunch while they got our bags settled in our cozy and spacious room. Every meal was delicious! Every staff member was friendly. They exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed sunset drinks overlooking an Umbrian sunset. The grounds had many rose bushes dispersed throughout. Centrally located to many great sites within a short drive. The staff was so helpful with any of our needs! And last but not least, the breakfast buffet was to die for!

Good hotel in hilltop position with commanding views. Comfortable , spacious rooms , impeccably cleaned every day. swimming pools spotless, gardens needed some attention after the drought . Attentive , friendly, well trained staff. Food was patchy , but overall satisfactory, some past dishes were uninspiring . Breakfast was a large comprehensive excellent buffet . Comfortable , friendly bar, and excellent locally sourced wines from Montefalco and Orvieto. Management seemed keen to listen to customer opinions. Only real issue ( outside hotel control) was the deeply potholed, steep , only approach road ! We will return !

Stunning Views & Great Food!

Absolutely beautiful grounds & the rooms were quaint and well done! We would certainly go back! We took the did the wine tour “next door” and it was extremely interesting and provided a lovely afternoon of trying the local wines. We had dinner at the resort several times & it never disappointed! B’fast was well done for an Italian b’fast, just know anywhere in Italy doesn’t do b’fast like we do here. Their espresso & cappuccinos alone make up for this! I can honestly say that they had some of the best gnocchi & truffle pasta we have had! We flew into Rome & then got a rental car so this hotel was a perfect hub to see all the towns in Umbria. If you don’t have a rental car it will be hard to do things on your schedule but they had vans that would take you to different places on different days. Overall: Worth it!

Fantastic menu,we had half pension and the menu had a lot of options.two swimming pools.Beautiful view overlooking the valley.Very clean hotel and very friendly staff.The breakfast was a lot too choose from.We will go back again next year

Beautiful place. We were received by the ladies at Reception in such a welcoming manner. I have not had that anywhere else. All personnel is very friendly. We have not met anyone who was not friendly. A nice selection for the buffet breakfast. There is an opportunity to have breakfast outside which is great. Great choice for the evening menu. The food was delicious. Nice bar area close to the pool, also for after dinner. Very quiet surroundings. The two ladies at Reception are real stars ! Our first room was not so nice (small and the window was at 30cm of a roof so it was quite dark) and they organised another room for us as from the next day. We were very happy with the change. It was a beautiful large room with a superb view. It was quite hot (34degrees C) when we were there and the airco didn’t work - this was due to a law on energy consumption by the province. However the ladies at reception organised that we had a fan in the room. This really helped.
