This hotel is located in the heart of Cologne city centre, just opposite the famous Cologne Cathedral and numerous shopping and leisure opportunities. It is only a 2-minute walk from the Central Station and 15 minutes from the Cologne Fair. The hotel is the ideal starting point for cultural experiences, business and excursions through the city centre of Cologne. Guests can enjoy a typical beer at the traditional brewery pub, lounge, cellar and beer garden.
Check-out ends at: 11:00
Aug It was a nice hotel few steps away from the Cathedral.

Everything was nice apart well the fact that there wasn't any aircon at all. But the fan they brought me in the room literally solved it alI. Room was pretty big, it had a bit of view of the cathedral. Bed was comfy. It was pretty relaxing to chill on the tub after a lo g day of walking & roaming around the city. Breakfast was really tasty: had a lot of stuff to chose of to. Position was pretty strategic for tourists. Everything was walking distance from there. Also if you gonna stay there would recommend also to try their restaurant Früh am Dom & don't forget to try their Kölsch it's exquisite.
DO NOT BOOK - BEWARE BAD BUSINESS

Do not book this hotel. We were to leave June 25 for a 7 week trip to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and a layover in Cologne Germany on the return. African countries have their boarders closed and our flights have cancelled. Our reservations were for August at this hotel, but it was at the end of our Africa trip which has been cancelled. I messaged the hotel and Sabine said to cancel free of charge. We called Expedia today to cancel, and the hotel now denies the cancellation, even though I have email proof that they already approved it. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. AS A TRAVEL AGENT, I WILL NEVER BOOK THEM FOR A CUSTOMER UNLESS THEY DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND REFUND THE MONEY.
Really Close to Everything, Helpful and Spotless -- But Hey Guys, it's 2020 -- What's up with the Internet?

You cannot go wrong if you choose this hotel. It is steps from the Dom, Ludwig & Roman Museums and a 5 minute walk to the train station. I traveled alone and appreciated the safety of the area and did not have to walk long distances to get back and forth. My room was spacious and spotless. The friendly hotel staff speak English. The breakfast was very good. The offerings were a typical German breakfast with cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, granola. I did not have a view of the Dom, but a dramatic view of the Rathaus and Great St. Martin's and the rooftops of Cologne so I did not miss out on a view. I can't be more complimentary about the location. You are walking distance to the Altmarkt, Heumarkt and the Rhine. Note: even if you do not stay at this particular hotel, I would stay in one in close proximity. There are larger hotels at Neumarkt, but it is a bit of a walk (through the shopping district) to get the the Dom and the museums. I walked past some of the hotels on the other side of the train station (away from the Dom). These were more residential streets and as a I was traveling alone, I didn't like the feel of the neighborhood. My hotel location let me go see the Dom facade lit up and spend some time in contemplation of that magnificent building rather late. The wifi is an UNSECURED hotspot. It was hard to log on. If you really care about staying secure, make sure that you have a really good cellular plan. I am not sure if this is typical for German hotels.
Perfect location with view of the Cathedral

Very close to the train station, several museums, the main shopping area and almost next to the cathedral. The instalations are modern and breakfast is good. Some rooms have a spacy bathroom whereas other only provide a very small shower.
